Bamboo
Bamboo is Bucharest's party factory. The tropical-themed nightclub on Soseaua Nordului runs at maximum energy on weekends with commercial house, reggaeton, and Romanian manele sets that keep a young, hedonistic crowd on the dance floor until dawn. The interior commits to the tropical concept with palm tree decorations, bamboo accents, and color-changing LED displays. Two separate areas offer different music styles on peak nights. Bottle service is available but the venue is more egalitarian than Kristal or Nuba, with general admission guests getting a genuine experience rather than a second-class one. The crowd is younger (early to mid-twenties) and less concerned with exclusivity than with having a loud, sweaty, memorable night.
What to Expect
A high-energy, no-subtlety nightclub experience. The music is loud, the lights are aggressive, and the crowd is there to party. This is the most fun you can have in Floreasca without a bottle service budget.
Tropical, chaotic, and loud. Pure party energy.
Commercial house, reggaeton, Romanian manele, hip-hop, pop remixes
Smart casual. The door is less strict than Kristal but still turns away sportswear and flip-flops.
Groups of friends looking for a big, loud night out without the price tag of premium bottle-service clubs.

Full Review
Bamboo occupies a space on Soseaua Nordului near Herastrau Park. The tropical theme is applied with enthusiasm: palm trees, bamboo surfaces, colorful lighting, and a general aesthetic that says 'beach party in a Bucharest suburb.' Two rooms split the programming. The main room runs commercial house and reggaeton with full production (lights, CO2, confetti on special occasions). The second room typically plays hip-hop or Romanian manele, depending on the night and the DJ.
The crowd is younger than other Floreasca venues. Early twenties dominates, with groups of friends making up the majority of the floor. The energy is genuine and uncomplicated. People are here to dance, drink, and have fun. There's no posturing about underground credibility or artistic merit. The DJ plays hits, the crowd responds, and the equation works.
Bottle service exists but doesn't dominate the experience the way it does at Kristal or Nuba. Tables start at 500 RON for a basic package, which is accessible enough that groups of four or five can split it comfortably. General admission guests have full access to the dance floor and bars, and the layout doesn't segregate them from the table sections as aggressively as some competitors.
Drinks are priced slightly below the Floreasca average. Cocktails at 35-55 RON and beer at 18-25 RON keep the tab manageable for a full night. The bar gets slammed between 1 AM and 2 AM; ordering two drinks at a time is the move.
Bamboo won't win any awards for subtlety or musical sophistication. That's fine. Not every night out needs to be a curated experience. Sometimes you want a loud room, a cold drink, and enough bass to feel it in your chest. Bamboo delivers that reliably.
The line after midnight on Saturdays can stretch. Arrive before 12 or book a table to skip it.
