Club 30
Club 30 is a small independent nightclub in Iosefin with a capacity of around 200 people, operating as Timisoara's main underground alternative to the commercial club scene in Cetate. The venue occupies a single-floor space on Strada Marginenii de Sus, with a dance floor centered on a DJ setup and a bar running along one side. The programming is deliberately varied: techno, minimal electronic, alternative nights, and occasional themed events. Entry prices are kept accessible. The crowd is older than Heaven Studio on average, skews toward people who have moved past commercial club phases but still want to dance. Sound quality is decent for the room size. The booking policy brings in regional acts from Serbia and Hungary as well as Timisoara locals, reflecting the city's cross-border cultural connections.

What to Expect
A small, dark club that feels lived-in rather than designed. The dance floor gets properly packed at 1 AM. The music is better than the commercial clubs. The drinks are cheaper than Cetate.
Dark, focused on music, genuinely local. Not performing for tourists. The kind of place where regulars know the DJ.
Techno, minimal electronic, alternative genres; varies by booking
None. The crowd dresses casually with a slightly darker aesthetic.
Electronic music enthusiasts, people who find Daos too commercial and Heaven Studio too young, and anyone interested in the cross-border creative scene connecting Timisoara, Belgrade, and Budapest.

Insider Tip
Check their Facebook or Instagram for programming before arriving. Club 30 doesn't run every weekend and sometimes closes for private events. The programming varies significantly between dates. The best nights are when a regional act from Belgrade or Budapest is booked; the crowd on those nights is more engaged than the regular local-DJ weeks.
Full Review
Club 30 operates in the space that exists between the large commercial venues and the bar-cafe scene. It's too small to book major acts and too late-night-oriented to compete with cocktail bars, which means it has found a clear identity: small underground electronic nights for people who care about what's on the decks.
The room itself is unpretentious. Low ceilings, a concrete dance floor, a DJ booth that faces the room rather than a stage. The bar lines one wall. There are no comfortable seating sections, which signals the venue's priorities: this is a dancing room, not a lounge.
On good nights, the 200-person capacity creates the right density. Enough people that the room has energy, not so many that movement becomes impossible. The sound system is mid-range but well-tuned for the space; the low end doesn't disappear in the floor the way it does in poorly calibrated venues.
The cross-border programming is genuinely interesting for Timisoara. The city sits 70 kilometers from Belgrade and 130 kilometers from Budapest. Acts from both cities appear on the Club 30 calendar. Serbian minimal techno and Hungarian electronic producers both have affinities with the Timisoara scene that go back years. On nights when these connections activate, the crowd is noticeably more invested than on local-act Fridays.
For a visitor who has already done Cetate and wants to understand Timisoara's more local music scene, Club 30 is worth the Bolt ride to Iosefin.
