A ground-level bar area opens directly onto the beach, with plastic chairs and tables set on sand. The upper deck wraps around the building and offers unobstructed sea views. An indoor, air-conditioned section provides relief during summer months.

The drink menu is standard international fare. Draft beer options include the usual suspects: Heineken, Stella, and a rotating selection. Cocktails are competently made but not craft-level. Food is pub grub: burgers, fish and chips, nachos, and wings. It's honest, well-portioned, and priced fairly for hotel venue standards.

The crowd shifts throughout the day. Lunchtime brings hotel guests and families. Late afternoon fills with off-duty professionals. By 9 PM on weekends, the beach area turns into an open-air party with a DJ, dancing, and a distinctly younger crowd. The vibe stays friendly; fights or trouble are rare thanks to attentive security.

Barasti's main strength is consistency. It delivers the same experience week after week, which is why it's been a Dubai staple for over two decades. The main weakness is that it can feel worn and outdated compared to newer beach clubs. But that's also part of its charm. This isn't the place for Instagram moments; it's the place for an actual good time.
