360 Istanbul
360 Istanbul occupies the top floor of a historic building on Istiklal Caddesi, Istanbul's main pedestrian boulevard. The rooftop terrace delivers 360-degree views that justify the name: the Bosphorus to the east, the Golden Horn to the south, old Istanbul's mosques and minarets to the southeast, and the modern city stretching north. The venue functions as both an upscale restaurant and a cocktail bar, with the balance shifting as the night progresses. Dinner service runs until 11 PM with a Mediterranean-Turkish fusion menu at TRY 400-800 (EUR 10-21) for mains. After that, the DJ takes over and the space becomes a proper nightlife venue. Cocktails cost TRY 350-600 (EUR 9-16), wine starts at TRY 200 (EUR 5) per glass, and beer runs TRY 150-250 (EUR 4-6.50). Smart dress code is enforced. The crowd is Istanbul's upper-middle class, well-dressed professionals, visiting business travelers, and tourists who've done their research. Reservations are strongly recommended for dinner and advisable even for drinks on weekend nights. The terrace is the prize, but even the indoor section, with floor-to-ceiling windows, delivers impressive views. International DJs and local talent handle the music, which leans toward house and contemporary Turkish pop after midnight.
What to Expect
An elevator ride to the top floor opens into a sleek space with panoramic windows and a terrace wrapping the building. Early evening is cocktails with sunset views. Later, the lights dim, music volume rises, and the venue shifts into bar mode. The crowd is polished and the prices reflect it.
Sleek, cosmopolitan, and view-obsessed. Istanbul's skyline is the real decoration.
House, deep house, Turkish contemporary, and lounge music. DJ sets after 11 PM.
Smart dress code enforced. Collared shirts for men, no sneakers or sportswear. Women dress up. This is one of Beyoglu's more formal venues.
Special occasions, impressive dates, and travelers who want Istanbul's best view with a cocktail. Not a casual drop-in.
All major credit cards accepted. This is an upscale venue with full POS systems.

Reserve a terrace table for sunset, especially Friday and Saturday. The bar side doesn't require dinner reservations but expect a wait after 10 PM on weekends. Dress smartly; they turn people away at the door.
Full Review
The elevator opens and the view hits you immediately. On a clear evening, 360 Istanbul delivers one of the most impressive urban panoramas I've seen anywhere. The Bosphorus glitters to the east, the domes and minarets of the old city stack up to the south, and the Golden Horn cuts a golden line between the two halves of the city. I stood at the terrace railing for a solid five minutes before remembering to order a drink.
A Negroni cost TRY 420 and was properly made with good Italian vermouth. The bar team knows their craft. A friend's espresso martini was equally solid. We skipped dinner and stayed for drinks, which is the more accessible way to experience the venue without committing to a TRY 1,500+ dinner for two.
The crowd on a Friday night was well-dressed Istanbulites in their 30s and 40s, plus a handful of international visitors. Conversation flowed easily until the DJ turned things up around 11:30 PM, at which point the terrace became more of a dance-adjacent lounge. Nobody was really dancing, but the energy shifted from dinner-party to something with more pulse.
The prices are steep by Istanbul standards, but you're paying for the view and the exclusivity. Compared to rooftop bars in London or New York, 360 is actually reasonable. The terrace is the non-negotiable; if you can't get an outdoor seat, it's still good inside, but the windows add a layer of separation from the magic.
The Neighborhood
360 Istanbul sits on Istiklal Caddesi, Beyoglu's main artery, in the heart of Istanbul's most active nightlife and cultural district. The surrounding streets are packed with bars, restaurants, galleries, and clubs, making it easy to continue the evening after leaving.

Walk along Istiklal Caddesi from Taksim Square (10 minutes) or from the Tunel end (5 minutes). The entrance is at street level on Istiklal; look for the building number 311. The nearest metro is Sishane (M2 line), a 5-minute walk.
