Harbor View Rooftop
This rooftop terrace sits on top of one of Kaleici's cliff-edge buildings, offering unobstructed views down to the old Roman harbor and across the bay toward the Taurus Mountains. It's the sunset spot in Antalya's old town. The terrace is open-air with a mix of lounge seating and regular tables, shaded by canvas canopies during the day and lit by string lights after dark. Cocktails are priced at TRY 200-400 (EUR 5-10), reflecting the premium location. Beer starts at TRY 120 (EUR 3). A limited food menu covers mezze platters and light Mediterranean dishes at TRY 150-300 (EUR 4-8). The draw is simple: the view. Watching the sun drop behind the harbor while the call to prayer echoes from the minaret below is one of those travel moments that sticks with you. After sunset, the atmosphere shifts from scenic to social. Music plays at background level, the crowd gets younger, and conversations flow easier. Peak season (June through September) means arriving before 6 PM is necessary to guarantee a good seat. Winter months see reduced hours and a quieter crowd. Service can slow down during sunset rush, which is the trade-off for the location.
What to Expect
Climb stairs to a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Mediterranean, the old harbor, and mountains in the distance. Lounge chairs and tables are spread across the space. Staff bring menus quickly but drink service slows during the sunset rush. The atmosphere is relaxed and photo-happy early, becoming more bar-like after dark.
Breathtaking views, laid-back energy, and golden hour light that photographers dream about.

Insider Tip
Arrive at least an hour before sunset to get a cliff-edge table. The left side of the terrace has the best harbor angle. After sunset, the back tables near the bar are actually more comfortable for long evenings.
Full Review
I climbed the narrow staircase about 90 minutes before sunset and snagged a table at the cliff edge. The harbor sat directly below, fishing boats bobbing in their moorings, and the Mediterranean stretched to the horizon. A dark and stormy cocktail arrived in about five minutes and cost TRY 280. It was well-made and generously poured.
The sunset itself was the main event. The sky shifted through orange, pink, and purple while the call to prayer sounded from the Yivli Minaret across the old town. Everyone on the terrace stopped talking for about 30 seconds. Phones came out, photos were taken, and then the conversations resumed with that particular warmth that good light and good drinks produce.
After dark, the mood changed. String lights came on, the music shifted from ambient to something with more rhythm, and the crowd turned over. Sunset watchers left and a younger crowd filtered in. A second cocktail took longer to arrive, about 15 minutes, but the staff apologized and brought complimentary olives.
The premium here is the view, and it justifies the slightly higher prices. Drink quality is good but not exceptional. The food menu is basic but functional. You're paying for the terrace and the panorama, and honestly, it's worth every lira.
The Neighborhood
Perched on the western cliffs of Kaleici, this rooftop overlooks the ancient harbor that once served Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman ships. The surrounding streets are dense with boutique hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops catering to tourists staying in the old town.
Getting There
Inside Kaleici, head toward the western cliff edge near the harbor. The rooftop is accessible from the streets above the harbor, about 8 minutes' walk from Hadrian's Gate. Look for the entrance at street level and follow stairs up.
