Sunset Terrace Lara
Sunset Terrace Lara is an upper-floor terrace bar at a beachfront hotel on the Lara strip, occupying the building's top two floors and a rooftop deck with direct views over the Mediterranean. The terrace runs approximately 30 meters along the south face of the building, with a bar counter spanning the width and lounge seating in sections divided by planters. The view takes in the full sweep of the Lara coastline, the sea horizon to the south, and the dark outline of Cyprus just visible on clear winter days. The bar program is functional and fairly priced for the strip: a standard Turkish coastal selection with cold beer, basic cocktails, and a wine list that includes local Turkish options. The kitchen serves light mezze plates and hot snacks through the evening. The venue attracts a mix of hotel guests and non-guests who come for the views, making it one of the more genuinely open terrace options on the Lara strip.

Insider Tip
Arrive 30 minutes before sunset for the best unoccupied viewing position on the south-facing rail. The Turkish wine selection includes bottles from Kavaklidere and Corvus that represent good value. On off-season visits (October-November), the sunset terrace is often quiet enough to treat as a private balcony while the bar remains fully operational.
Full Review
Sunset Terrace Lara is the Lara strip's accessible rooftop option for the visitor who wants a sea view without the Regnum Sky Bar's prices or the crowd. The building isn't as tall as the Regnum Carya, but the terrace faces due south with no resort infrastructure blocking the sightline to the water. At sunset in June or July, the sky over the Mediterranean turns from gold to orange to deep red against the dark water, and the terrace fills quietly with guests who've walked up specifically for this event. The experience lasts about 45 minutes; after that, the bar settles into its regular evening mode. The cocktail program is straightforward without being lazy. The Turkish coastal context means cold beer is always the right order, but the mojito with fresh mint arrives correctly made, the Aperol spritz is properly chilled, and the wine selection includes Kavaklidere's Angora white, which is one of Turkey's most reliable value bottles. Mezze plates from the kitchen cover the standard Turkish coastal spread: hummus, ezme, borek, and a rotating mezze selection that changes with what was available at the Antalya market. The service team is relaxed and knowledgeable. Questions about the Turkish wine selection get genuine answers rather than a shrug. The venue stays open until 1 AM but the real activity window is 16:00-22:00. After midnight, it functions as a late-night hotel terrace for the few remaining guests. Sunset Terrace Lara is the right stopping point early in a Lara evening before moving to the clubs later.
