Serik Club Lara
Serik Club Lara is one of the Lara strip's largest independent nightclubs, built as a purpose venue rather than as an ancillary operation to a hotel. The structure is a large rectangular hall with a retractable roof that allows open-air operation on clear summer nights. The main dance floor holds around 600 people standing, with a central stage and flanking speakers on tower mounts. A horseshoe bar runs along the back wall. The outdoor terrace area wraps the building on two sides and holds another 200 people. Serik brings in Russian and European touring DJs during peak summer months (June through August), which makes it competitive with Istanbul's seasonal club imports. The resident program through September and the shoulder months focuses on commercial house and Turkish pop crossover.

Insider Tip
Pre-purchase tickets online through the club's website for peak summer weekends to avoid the door queue. The outdoor terrace is significantly cooler than the indoor hall in July and August. Russian New Year (January 1-7) activates the club when most Lara venues are closed; this is a worthwhile off-season visit.
Full Review
Serik Club Lara occupies the correct niche for the Lara strip: it's the independent club option that competes with resort entertainment by offering something the hotel programming doesn't, which is a proper nightclub with touring acts and a crowd assembled specifically for the music rather than bundled into the experience by the all-inclusive package. The building is functional rather than beautiful. The retractable roof is the best architectural decision: when it opens on a clear August night, the club turns into an outdoor dance floor under the stars with the sea breeze coming off the Mediterranean coast. At that moment, the venue earns its price. The resident DJ program is commercially oriented, playing the house and EDM crossover that the Lara tourist demographic responds to. Guest bookings from Moscow, Berlin, and occasionally London bring a different energy; these nights are when the venue fills to maximum capacity and the crowd's composition shifts toward music-motivated attendees rather than general tourists. The outdoor terrace is the recommended position for most of the night: cooler, better for conversation, and still within earshot of the music. The indoor hall's peak-summer temperature can exceed comfort even with the industrial HVAC running. Bar service is competent and reasonably fast given the volume. Bring TRY in cash for the fastest bar experience.
The Neighborhood
On the Lara strip between two resort hotel complexes. The nearby hotels' entertainment complexes run until midnight; Serik takes the crowd after that transition point.
Getting There
Taxi or rideshare from Antalya city center (Kaleici) takes approximately 20-25 minutes. From hotels on the Lara strip, a short 5-10 minute taxi ride. The club has signage visible from the main Lara road.
