Havana Beach Bar
Havana Beach Bar is a mid-range party bar on Slovenska Beach with a Latin theme that extends from the drink menu to the music policy. The venue sets up directly on the sand with about 100 seats across loungers, low tables, and standing areas around the bar counter. A small raised platform serves as a dance area and occasional stage for performers. The bar is known for themed nights during peak season, including foam parties that draw large crowds and generate significant noise. The atmosphere is unapologetically party-oriented after 10 PM, with a young international crowd that's there for fun rather than sophistication. Havana has operated on this stretch of beach for several seasons and maintains a loyal following among repeat Budva visitors.

Insider Tip
Foam party nights are the biggest events; they're announced on the venue's social media. Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet. The cocktails are strong and cheap. Havana is the best-value party bar on the beach strip.
Full Review
Havana is the beach bar for people who want to party without paying Trocadero prices. The Latin theme is a loose framework for what is, fundamentally, a budget party spot on the sand. And it works, because the pricing allows a full night of drinking without regret, and the atmosphere rewards anyone willing to participate.
The foam parties are the signature events. They're chaotic, sticky, and exactly what you'd expect. A machine covers the dance area in foam while the DJ pushes reggaeton, and the crowd embraces the absurdity. It's not for everyone, and it doesn't pretend to be. If you're in Budva for a week and want one night of pure, uncomplicated fun, this is where you go.
Non-event nights are calmer but still party-oriented. The DJ plays from 10 PM, the dance area fills by 11, and the energy stays high until closing. Cocktails are simple and strong. The mojito is acceptable. The beer is cold. Expectations aligned, nobody leaves disappointed.
The crowd is the youngest on the beach strip, skewing heavily toward backpackers, gap-year travelers, and twenty-somethings on package holidays. The atmosphere is inclusive and easy-going. Solo travelers can walk in and find a conversation within minutes. The bar's informality is its greatest asset.
The Neighborhood
Havana is on Slovenska Beach between Trocadero and Lido, in the central-eastern section. It's about a 7-minute walk from the Old Town along the promenade. Other beach bars are visible in both directions.
Getting There
Walk east along the Slovenska Beach promenade from the Old Town for about 7 minutes. Havana's setup is marked by its palm-tree decorations and colorful bar counter. Hard to miss during operating hours.
