Camarote Bar
Camarote Bar is a beachfront bar on Avenida Oceânica with a covered terrace, casual menu, and a sound system that picks up after 10 PM with DJ-driven programming. The space runs a small indoor bar inside and a large covered terrace facing the beach across the avenue, with the terrace being the venue's main feature. The kitchen serves Bahian beach-bar standards (grilled fish, shrimp boards, acarajé, bolinho de bacalhau) plus burgers and pizzas at moderate pricing. Drinks pricing reflects beachfront positioning: beer R$12-18, caipirinhas R$22-32. The crowd is mixed Brazilian-foreign with the energy shifting from early-evening dinner-and-drinks to late-night dance-bar from 10 PM onward.

Full Review
Camarote Bar sits in a ground-floor space on Avenida Oceânica with a small indoor bar inside and the large covered terrace that defines the venue. The terrace faces the avenue and the beach across, with a low railing along the front and a roof that protects against sun and rain. Capacity sits around 100 between indoor and terrace.
The dual-mode evening progression is the venue's signature. The 4-10 PM phase runs as a casual beachfront bar with dinner service: grilled fish plates, shrimp boards, burgers, pizzas, and standard Bahian appetizers at moderate prices. The 10 PM-2 AM phase shifts to DJ-driven programming with the terrace's sound system kicking up volume and the crowd shifting from dinner pace to dance bar mode. Many groups arrive for sunset and stay through the transition.
Compared to the other Avenida Oceânica botecos, Camarote is the only one that runs as a late-night dance-bar transition rather than closing around midnight. Compared to Tiki Bar two minutes north, Camarote is less themed and more beachfront-casual but with similar late-night programming energy. The venue fills the niche of "beachfront sunset to late-night dance" along Avenida Oceânica.
The kitchen runs reliable beach-bar food. The grilled fish plates (filé de peixe grelhado) are the menu's strongest order at R$50-65 with rice, beans, and farofa. Burgers and pizzas are acceptable but not the reason to come. Service speeds slow during the 10 PM transition; ordering food and drinks before the DJ kicks in is the practical strategy.
