Myst MAYA
Myst MAYA occupies the 5th-floor rooftop of the Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center at the north end of Nimman, with the city's most polished combination of mixology, EDM dance programming, and open-air terrace dining. The venue splits between an indoor lounge with full club production for the late-night dance segment and an outdoor terrace with seating overlooking the city. The terrace runs sunset cocktails and small plates from 6 PM; the indoor club ramps up around 11 PM with DJs running EDM, house, and crossover until 2 AM. Pricing sits at the upper end of Nimman: cocktails 280-380 THB, beer 180-220 THB, and bottle-service tables starting at 4,000 THB. The crowd is the most polished in the city, mixing Thai professionals, Bangkok visitors, and international guests staying in nearby Nimman hotels.

Full Review
Access runs through the Maya Mall ground-floor entrance, then dedicated elevators to the 5th-floor rooftop. The arrival hostess greets parties and seats them either on the outdoor terrace or in the indoor lounge depending on intent. The outdoor terrace stretches along the building's perimeter with a low railing, ambient lighting, and table seating overlooking the city. The indoor lounge sits behind glass doors with a dance floor at the center, DJ booth raised at one end, and booth seating around the perimeter.
The night runs in two phases. The 6-10 PM phase is terrace-focused: cocktails, small plates, mixed couples and groups, low-volume electronic background music. The 11 PM-2 AM phase shifts to the indoor club: full DJ programming, lasers, smoke, and the dance floor compressing. The terrace stays open and quieter during the club phase, useful for breaks.
Compared to Warm Up Cafe, Myst MAYA is smaller, more polished, more expensive, and pulls a noticeably older and dressier crowd. The production quality of the indoor club is on par with Bangkok venues like Sing Sing or Beam, which is unusual for Chiang Mai. Compared to MAI The Sky Bar at the Meliá, Myst is more dance-focused and has the indoor club option; MAI is purely a sunset and cocktail destination.
The dress code is the strictest of any Nimman venue. Door staff turn away patrons in shorts, sandals, or T-shirts during peak hours. Booking ahead helps with both terrace tables and dance-floor booth seating; minimum spends on booths are reasonable for groups of four or more.
The Neighborhood

Tourist SIM cards usually require your passport and a trip to a kiosk. An eSIM works the moment you land: scan a QR, pick a data plan, done. Roaming charges from your home carrier rarely make sense for trips longer than a few days.
