Sinatra Bar
Sinatra Bar brings a classic American bar sensibility to Puerto Banus. The interior is styled after a mid-century cocktail lounge: dark wood, leather seating, warm lighting, and a long bar where the bartenders work in waistcoats. The name references Frank Sinatra, and the musical program follows suit with jazz, swing, and classic vocal standards playing through the sound system. Some nights feature live musicians: a piano player, a jazz trio, or a vocalist covering the Great American Songbook. Cocktails run EUR 12-16, made with genuine care by bartenders who can discuss their ingredients and technique. Whiskey and bourbon selections are stronger than average. Wine runs EUR 8-12 and beer EUR 6-8. The crowd is older and more conversational than the club scene, preferring to sit and talk over well-made drinks rather than stand in line for a DJ set. The atmosphere is the polar opposite of the marina's megaclubs, and that's precisely the appeal. Sinatra Bar proves that Puerto Banus has more to offer than bottle service and bass drops.

Full Review
Sinatra Bar is a deliberate counterpoint to everything else in Puerto Banus. Where other venues chase volume and spectacle, Sinatra keeps things low and intimate. The room is designed like a classic New York cocktail lounge: leather banquettes, a wooden bar, dim lighting, and enough space between tables that your conversation stays private.
The cocktails are the best I had in Puerto Banus. An Aviation was made with the correct violet liqueur and served in a proper coupe glass. A Whiskey Sour used fresh citrus and had the right ratio of sweet to sour. The bartender discussed each drink without being condescending and offered variations when I described what I was in the mood for.
On a night with a live pianist, the atmosphere peaked. The music was tasteful, played at a volume that enhanced rather than dominated the room. A few couples were swaying by the bar. Most people were seated, talking and drinking with a contentment that the louder venues on the marina couldn't match.
Sinatra Bar serves a specific audience and serves them well. If you've spent your evening watching sparklers illuminate bottle deliveries at Pangea and want to decompress with a proper drink, this is where you go. The contrast is dramatic and deliberate.
The Neighborhood
Sinatra Bar is on the Muelle de Ribera marina front in Puerto Banus, situated among the louder clubs and bars but offering a distinctly different experience. The location means you can walk between the cocktail lounge calm and the club chaos in under a minute.
Getting There

Address
Muelle de Ribera, 29660 Puerto Banús
Other Venues in Puerto Banús

Pangea
Currently the hottest club in Puerto Banus, playing a mix of commercial house, hip-hop, and Latin music. The interior is lavish, the crowd is dressed up, and bottle service is the main revenue model. Gets busy from 1 AM.

La Suite
Long-established Puerto Banus nightclub that has survived multiple eras and reinventions. Currently running a club format with resident and guest DJs. The crowd is mixed international. Entry EUR 20-30.

Linekers Bar
Named after the English footballer, this sports-bar-turned-party-venue draws a predominantly British crowd with loud music, cheap-ish drinks by local standards, and a party atmosphere. Less pretentious than the clubs.

Astral Cocktail Bar
Rooftop cocktail bar with views over the marina. The mixology is competent, the views are excellent, and the atmosphere is more relaxed than the clubs below. Best from sunset through midnight before the club crowd takes over.
