Linekers Bar
Linekers Bar is named after English footballer Gary Lineker and draws a predominantly British crowd with its sports-bar-turned-party-venue formula. The setup is straightforward: screens showing sport during the day, cheap-ish drinks by Puerto Banus standards, and a transition to party mode in the evening with loud music, karaoke, and staff dancing on the bar. Drinks run EUR 8-12 for cocktails and EUR 5-7 for beer, which is noticeably cheaper than the clubs. The atmosphere is unashamedly British abroad: hen parties, stag groups, sunburned couples, and the occasional family that wandered in during the daytime sports-bar phase. The music is commercial pop hits, party anthems, and whatever gets the crowd singing along. There's no pretension, no dress code, and no expectation of sophistication. Linekers works because it delivers exactly what its audience wants: a loud, fun, affordable night in a marina full of EUR 20 cocktails. The bar sits right on the marina front, giving it visibility and foot traffic that other venues would kill for.
What to Expect
A loud British-style party bar on the marina. Staff dance on the bar, the crowd sings along to pop anthems, and the energy is relentless. It's not classy and it doesn't try to be. If you want fun without pretension in a town full of pretension, this is your spot.
Loud, rowdy, and proudly unpretentious. British abroad at maximum volume.
Commercial pop, party anthems, karaoke nights, and whatever makes people sing along.
None. Shorts and flip-flops are common. This is the anti-dress-code venue in Puerto Banus.
British holidaymakers, groups looking for affordable party energy, anyone wanting the opposite of the velvet-rope club experience.

Insider Tip
Go for the atmosphere, not the drinks. It's cheapest during happy hour in the late afternoon. Evening karaoke nights can be surprisingly entertaining. Don't expect a quiet drink.
Full Review
Linekers Bar exists in a different universe from the designer clubs fifty meters away. The bar sits on the marina front with a large terrace, screens showing Premier League matches, and a staff team that treats every evening like a festival. By 10 PM, bartenders are dancing on the counter and the crowd is singing along to songs everyone knows.
The drinks are basic but priced below the Puerto Banus average. A beer costs about half what you'd pay at Pangea or La Suite. Cocktails are functional rather than crafted, made fast in plastic cups for a crowd that's drinking for volume rather than flavor. Nobody complains because nobody came here for mixology.
The crowd is overwhelmingly British. Hen parties in matching outfits, stag groups in fancy dress, couples who met at the pool that afternoon. The atmosphere is inclusive in its own way: everyone is on the same level, nobody is trying to impress, and the shared commitment to having a loud time creates genuine camaraderie.
Linekers fills a specific role in Puerto Banus. After spending the day surrounded by supercars and designer stores, some people want a night that doesn't require a EUR 300 bottle minimum and a dress code. This bar provides that release. It's not sophisticated, and it's proud of the fact.
The Neighborhood
Linekers sits on the Muelle de Ribera marina front, between the luxury clubs and the marina's commercial strip. The contrast between Linekers' casual energy and the designer-clad crowds at neighboring venues is part of the Puerto Banus experience.
Getting There
Central on the Puerto Banus marina front. Walk from any point along the Muelle de Ribera. You'll hear it before you see it.
Address
Muelle de Ribera 5, 29660 Puerto Banús
Other Venues in Puerto Banús

Pangea
Currently the hottest club in Puerto Banus, playing a mix of commercial house, hip-hop, and Latin music. The interior is lavish, the crowd is dressed up, and bottle service is the main revenue model. Gets busy from 1 AM.

La Suite
Long-established Puerto Banus nightclub that has survived multiple eras and reinventions. Currently running a club format with resident and guest DJs. The crowd is mixed international. Entry EUR 20-30.

Astral Cocktail Bar
Rooftop cocktail bar with views over the marina. The mixology is competent, the views are excellent, and the atmosphere is more relaxed than the clubs below. Best from sunset through midnight before the club crowd takes over.

Sinatra Bar
Sophisticated cocktail lounge styled after a classic American bar. Live music on some nights, well-made drinks, and a crowd that prefers conversation to thumping basslines. A good alternative to the club scene.
