Pangea

Puerto Banús, Marbella

Pangea is currently the hottest club in Puerto Banus, drawing a crowd that's ready to spend. The interior is lavish: metallic finishes, crystal fixtures, LED panels, and a dance floor that's designed to be seen from the surrounding VIP areas. The music runs commercial house, hip-hop, and Latin, with resident DJs who know how to work a room that's as much about the scene as the sound. Bottle service is the primary revenue model, with tables starting around EUR 300 and premium positions climbing into the thousands. Walk-in entry runs EUR 20-30 and includes a drink. Cocktails at the bar cost EUR 15-20, beer EUR 8-12. The crowd is international and dressed expensively: Russian, Arabic, British, and Spanish money mixing on the dance floor. The club fills from about 1 AM and runs until 5 AM or later on peak nights. The dress code is strictly enforced, and doorstaff will assess your appearance before letting you in. Pangea represents the Puerto Banus nightlife model at its most concentrated: expensive, flashy, and unapologetically about wealth and display.

What to Expect

A lavish nightclub where money is the main currency. VIP tables surround a central dance floor, sparklers accompany bottle deliveries, and the production values are high. If you're on the dance floor without a table, you're part of the atmosphere for the table clients. It's flashy and fun if you embrace the excess.

Full Review

Pangea's entrance on the Puerto Banus marina sets the tone immediately. Security checks are thorough, and the doorstaff assess your appearance before opening the rope. Inside, the room opens up around a central dance floor with VIP tables on raised platforms along the walls. The decor is heavy on metallic surfaces and LED effects. Every few minutes, a bottle delivery is announced with sparklers and a procession of staff.

The music is commercial and effective. The DJ mixed house, hip-hop, and reggaeton smoothly, reading a room that contained at least six different nationalities. The dance floor was packed by 2 AM with a crowd that had clearly spent time getting ready. The energy was high and slightly performative, with people dancing as much for the tables' attention as for the music.

Drinks at the bar are expensive but not surprising for Puerto Banus. A vodka and tonic was EUR 18. The bottle service tables are where the real spending happens, with groups dropping EUR 500-3,000 over the course of an evening. If that's not your budget, the general admission dance floor experience is still fun, just understand that the club is designed around the tables.

Pangea is a product of its environment. Puerto Banus attracts money, and Pangea caters to it without apology. If you want underground music or an authentic local experience, this isn't it. If you want to dance in a room full of expensive clothes and generous drink service, Pangea delivers exactly that.
