The overall design feels considered rather than showy, drawing on Mediterranean vocabulary: rope, distressed timber, linen, candles.

Food is the anchor of the offer, and the kitchen handles the middle weight classes better than the extremes. Poke bowls, ceviche, tuna tartare, and the tapas selection all come out consistently. The grilled mains are competent but rarely memorable, and desserts feel like an afterthought. Portions are Mediterranean-sized, which means you'll want two or three plates per person if you're treating it as dinner. Cocktails get the attention they deserve. The bartenders stick to classics most of the time, and the handful of signature drinks on the menu hold together without overcomplicating things. Most nights feature a guitarist or small duo running through covers that span everything from Fleetwood Mac to Rosalía, at a volume calibrated to let conversation continue. The crowd responds with scattered applause between songs rather than full attention, which suits the room's pace. By midnight the terrace still has guests, but the energy has dropped enough that Kanya feels like a decompression zone rather than a pre-club stop. Groups heading on to Ibiza Town often make Kanya their last harbor-front stop before the taxi rank.
