Pacha
Pacha has been the heartbeat of Ibiza nightlife since 1973. The cherry logo is recognized globally, and the club itself lives up to the mythology. Located a short walk from Ibiza Town's port, the venue holds around 3,000 people across multiple rooms. The main room hosts headline DJ sets with a massive sound system and full production: lasers, CO2 cannons, LED walls, the works. The Funky Room plays classic house and disco for those who want something warmer. A smaller room usually runs hip-hop or commercial hits. Headline nights with top DJs command EUR 40-80 entry, while midweek parties or resident nights drop to EUR 25-40. Drinks inside are expensive: EUR 15-20 for a basic cocktail, EUR 10-12 for a beer. Bottle service starts around EUR 300 and climbs steeply. The dress code is enforced and leans smart: no shorts, no flip-flops, no football shirts. The crowd is international, well-heeled, and here for a specific DJ more often than not. The club operates year-round, unlike most Ibiza venues, though the summer season from June through September is when the big bookings happen.
What to Expect
A massive, multi-room club with world-class production. The main room is intense: loud, crowded, visually overwhelming. Moving between rooms lets you shift energy levels. The Funky Room is warmer and more social. Expect to spend significantly more than you would at mainland Spanish clubs.
Glamorous, high-energy, and unapologetically expensive. The flagship Ibiza club experience.
Main room: house, techno, EDM depending on the night. Funky Room: classic house, disco. Other rooms: hip-hop, commercial.
Smart dress enforced. No shorts, sandals, or sportswear. Collared shirts for men recommended.
Clubbers who want the full Ibiza superclub experience with top-tier DJ bookings and production.
Cards accepted everywhere. Cash also works. VIP/bottle service requires advance booking.

Insider Tip
Buy tickets online well in advance for headline nights. The Funky Room is often better than the main room for actual dancing. Arrive before 1 AM to beat the worst of the queue. Pre-drink at the port bars to save money.
Full Review
Pacha's entrance is on a road that climbs from the port, and even from outside the bass is audible. The queue moves efficiently on most nights. Inside, you pass through a lobby area into the main room, which opens up with a high ceiling, a DJ booth elevated above the crowd, and a dance floor that holds over a thousand people. The production is serious: lighting rigs, lasers, and a sound system that's been fine-tuned over decades.
The Funky Room is where I spent most of my night. It's smaller, the music is more soulful, and the dancing feels less performative. A resident DJ was playing classic house records, mixing skillfully, and the crowd was actually moving rather than holding phones in the air. The atmosphere was closer to a great bar than a superclub.
Prices are steep and non-negotiable. A rum and coke cost EUR 18. Water was EUR 8. These are standard Ibiza superclub rates, but they still sting. Pre-loading at the harbor bars before coming is standard practice for anyone not on an unlimited budget.
Pacha earns its reputation through consistency. After fifty years, the club still books relevant DJs, maintains its venue properly, and delivers a production standard that justifies the premium. It's not cheap, it's not intimate, and it's not alternative. But for the classic Ibiza superclub experience, this is the original.
The Neighborhood
Pacha sits just outside Ibiza Town's old port area, on the road toward Talamanca beach. The harbor and Marina Botafoch restaurant zone are a short walk away, making it easy to combine dinner and drinks before heading to the club. Taxis queue at the exit for the journey home.
Getting There
A 10-minute walk from Ibiza Town's port area, heading north along the waterfront road. Taxis from anywhere in Ibiza Town cost EUR 5-8. The Discobus night service stops nearby during summer season.

Other Venues in Ibiza Town

Lío
Dinner-and-show cabaret concept on the harbor that combines a restaurant, performance stage, and club. The show runs during dinner, then the venue transitions to a nightclub after midnight. The production quality is high, and the crowd is glamorous. Dinner-show packages start at EUR 100.

Teatro Pereyra
Former theater converted into a bar-cafe that maintains its theatrical facade and some interior details. Functions as a relaxed pre-club drink spot and late-night gathering place. The terrace spills onto the street in summer.

Heart Ibiza
Collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and the Adria brothers (of El Bulli fame) combining restaurant, show, and club. Performances run during dinner, followed by a club night. The concept is ambitious and the execution is polished, if pricey.
