Circo Ibiza
Circo Ibiza operates as a late-night club in Ibiza Town's port area, trading on a circus-themed interior that distinguishes it visually from the surrounding bars and the bigger superclubs further out. Capacity runs around 500, which positions the venue in the middle ground between neighborhood bars and the full-scale clubs. Music policy leans toward tech house and deep house, with some rotation into melodic house and occasional techno sets depending on the resident's programming. Entry prices sit well below Pacha, and drinks stay in a range that feels reasonable compared to the superclubs, which makes Circo a practical midweek option for visitors who want a club night without the full Ibiza tariff. The crowd skews younger than Pacha's, typically 25-35, with a mix of Spanish-speaking residents and international visitors. The circus theme reads as theatrical rather than kitsch, with staff occasionally in costume and the stage area used for short performance sets that break up the DJ schedule.

Full Review
Circo Ibiza fills a gap in the island's club scene. Ibiza Town's port has plenty of bars and the Pacha giant, but until Circo opened there wasn't much middle ground between a neighborhood drinking spot and a 45 EUR entry fee. The circus-themed interior sounds gimmicky on paper but works in practice, giving the room a visual identity without tipping into camp. Red velvet drapes, brass rails, a small elevated stage, and lighting cues borrowed from theatre all support the theme without overplaying it.
Music programming holds up. Resident DJs rotate tech house and deep house across most nights, with melodic house and techno showing up on specific weekly billings. The booking policy leans toward credible Spanish and European names rather than global headliners, which keeps costs down and the lineup interesting. On a good night Circo's sound system is surprisingly close to DC10 territory, though the room's smaller size means less overall power.
Price-wise, Circo reads as a relief after a week of Playa d'en Bossa. Door entry at 15-25 EUR is half what you'd pay at Pacha, and drinks stay in a 10-15 EUR range that feels manageable. Bottle service starts at 300 EUR, which is low by island standards and makes group nights possible without a five-figure tab. The bar program covers the expected drinks without attempting anything ambitious.
The circus element is the wildcard. Some nights it's purely decorative, with staff in themed costumes and nothing else to notice. Other nights the stage features short performance sets: aerial silks, contortionists, burlesque acts that fill the transition between DJs. These moments are well-executed and add something to the evening without disrupting the dance floor. Regulars check the schedule before deciding which night to visit, since a performance night versus a pure DJ night can shift the experience significantly.
