Heart Ibiza

Ibiza Town, Ibiza

Heart Ibiza was born from a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and the Adria brothers, the creative minds behind El Bulli. The concept merges restaurant, performance art, and nightclub into a single evening that unfolds in phases. Dinner begins with a multi-course meal that incorporates theatrical presentations: performers emerge from behind screens, acrobats descend from the ceiling, and the lighting shifts to match each course. The food reflects the Adria brothers' avant-garde approach with creative presentations and unexpected flavor combinations. After dinner, the space transitions into a nightclub with DJ sets running until early morning. Dinner packages start around EUR 120-180 per person. Club-only entry after midnight runs EUR 30-50. Drinks are priced at luxury Ibiza rates: cocktails EUR 18-25, champagne by the glass starts around EUR 25. The venue sits on the harbor promenade near Lio, sharing the same waterfront strip. The production budget is significant, and it shows in every detail from the costumes to the projection mapping.

Full Review

Heart Ibiza is ambitious in a way that few venues anywhere attempt. The dining room is arranged around a central performance space, and from the moment you sit down, the boundary between restaurant and theater dissolves. Performers interact with diners, acrobats work above the tables, and the lighting design shifts to match the mood of each course.

The food is creative and well-executed, drawing on the Adria brothers' legacy without trying to replicate El Bulli. Dishes are playful and presentation-focused: foams, unexpected textures, and flavor combinations that make you pause. Not every dish lands perfectly, but the overall experience is memorable. The wine pairing option adds another layer but pushes the total cost significantly higher.

The shift to club mode after midnight is well-managed. The performance area becomes a dance floor, the lighting goes full nightclub, and a DJ takes over from the live performers. The energy changes completely, and some dinner guests leave while a club crowd arrives. The music tends toward accessible house and electronic, keeping the diverse crowd engaged.

Heart's weakness is that it tries to do many things at once, and not everyone wants all of them. If you're here purely for dinner, the club transition can feel disruptive. If you're here for the club, the EUR 30-50 entry gets you a good venue but not the full experience. The sweet spot is committing to the entire evening and letting each phase unfold.
