Mania
Mania is Sunny Beach's largest open-air mega-club, holding over 2,000 people on the Main Strip's central section. The venue is built for volume in every sense: volume of people, volume of music, and volume of alcohol consumed. The open-air format means the dance floor sits under the sky, surrounded by bars, VIP platforms, and a DJ booth on an elevated stage. Commercial house, chalga remixes, and mainstream pop drive the music. The foam party nights, running mid-week during peak season, are the resort's signature events: industrial foam machines coat the dance floor in waist-high suds while the DJ plays and the crowd goes wild. It's messy, chaotic, and exactly what it sounds like. Mania doesn't pretend to be sophisticated. It's a mega-club for a party resort, and it executes that role with efficiency. The staff process drink orders quickly, security maintains order without being aggressive, and the layout allows reasonable flow despite the capacity.
What to Expect
A large open-air space that hits you with sound and light from the entrance. Multiple bars ring the perimeter, and the dance floor takes up the center. On foam nights, machines on elevated platforms spray thick foam across the crowd in timed bursts. The floor gets slippery. People slide, dance, and laugh in equal measure. On non-foam nights, the space functions as a standard mega-club with better ventilation than any indoor venue could offer.
Chaotic, loud, and unrestrained. The kind of place where inhibitions dissolve by default.
Commercial house, EDM, mainstream pop remixes, and Bulgarian chalga mixes. The DJ caters to the international tourist crowd with recognizable hits.
None. Foam party nights see swimwear and old t-shirts. Regular nights are casual resort wear. Nobody will judge your outfit at Mania.
Large groups looking for the full Sunny Beach party experience. Foam party enthusiasts. Anyone who wants a massive dance floor and doesn't care about musical curation.
Cash and cards accepted at all bars. BGN preferred. EUR accepted at an unfavorable rate.

Insider Tip
Wear clothes you don't mind ruining to foam parties. The foam is slippery; wear shoes with grip, not sandals. Water is essential between drinks; the combination of heat, dancing, and alcohol causes dehydration quickly. VIP platforms offer a view of the chaos below without being in it.
Full Review
Mania is exactly what you think it is when you hear 'mega-club in a Bulgarian party resort.' The venue makes no attempt at subtlety or sophistication, and that's fine. It knows its audience: groups of young tourists who came to Sunny Beach specifically for nights like this.
The open-air format is Mania's best feature. Fresh air circulates constantly, which prevents the suffocating heat that plagues indoor clubs in summer. The layout gives you room to move between bars, dance floor, and the perimeter seating areas without feeling trapped. On busy nights, the dance floor itself gets packed, but the surrounding space provides escape routes.
Foam party nights are the main draw and the main risk. The foam is thick, slippery, and gets everywhere. Phones, wallets, and anything else in your pockets will get wet. Leave valuables at the hotel or seal them in a waterproof pouch. The experience itself is genuinely fun if you commit to it: dancing in foam under an open sky with 2,000 strangers has an absurd joy that no amount of cynicism quite neutralizes.
Drinks are standard Sunny Beach quality. Beer is reliable. Cocktails vary. The fishbowl shared cocktails are the signature order, designed for groups and consumed through long straws. Spirit content is sometimes questionable, but at these prices, expectations should be calibrated accordingly.
Security is present and generally effective. Fights get shut down quickly. The main safety concern is drink spiking, which is a risk at any high-volume tourist venue. Standard precautions apply: never leave your drink, don't accept drinks from strangers, and stay with your group.
