Bedroom Beach
Bedroom Beach is the coastal outpost of Sofia's Bedroom nightclub brand, transplanting that venue's attention to quality onto the sand at Sunny Beach's central beach section. The setup includes day beds, a proper bar with trained bartenders, a DJ booth, and a layout that separates the beach club from the general beach access. During the day, it operates as the resort's upscale beach club: sun loungers with table service, cocktails that use actual measured spirits, and DJ sets that maintain a chill-house soundtrack. The crowd is a mix of Sofia weekenders, wealthier tourists, and anyone willing to pay a premium for a better beach experience. Prices are the highest on the beach but still modest by Mediterranean standards. The venue transitions from day club to sunset party mode, with the energy building through afternoon DJ sets that peak around golden hour. It doesn't operate as a nightclub; the action ends when the sun goes down and moves elsewhere.
What to Expect
A sectioned-off area of beach with white loungers, parasols, and waiter service. The bar is well-stocked and staffed by bartenders rather than bar staff. Music plays at a level that enhances the setting without dominating it. The crowd is older and more moneyed than the strip's average. By late afternoon, the energy picks up as the DJ pushes the tempo, and people start dancing between the loungers.
Polished, relaxed, and subtly upscale. The Sofia Bedroom brand's attention to detail translates well to the beach format.
Chill house, deep house, and nu-disco during the day. Progressive and tech-house as sunset approaches.
Beach attire during the day (swimwear, cover-ups, sandals). Smart beach wear for sunset events. Significantly more put-together than the rest of the beach.
Couples wanting a quality beach day. Sofia weekenders. Daytime drinking with good music. Anyone willing to pay more for a better experience than the standard beach bars offer.
Cards preferred. Cash accepted. BGN standard.

Insider Tip
Book a front-row day bed early; they sell out by noon on weekends. The cocktails here are worth the premium over strip bar drinks. The sunset hour (roughly 19:00-20:30 in summer) is the peak experience. Bring sunscreen; there's less shade than other beach setups.
Full Review
Bedroom Beach solves the main problem with Sunny Beach's public beach: quality. The general beach is crowded, the lounger rental operations are chaotic, and the drink quality from most beach bars is poor. Bedroom Beach sections off its territory and delivers a noticeably better product.
The loungers are comfortable and properly spaced. The parasols provide actual shade. The waiter service means you don't have to abandon your spot for drinks. And the drinks themselves are the key differentiator: proper cocktails with measured pours, quality spirits, and fresh garnishes. A mojito here tastes like a mojito, which is more than you can say for most of the strip.
The DJ programming builds through the day, starting with background chill-house in the morning and working toward more energetic deep house by afternoon. The sunset hour is the highlight: golden light, music peaking, cocktails flowing, and the Black Sea as the backdrop. It's genuine atmosphere rather than manufactured hype.
Pricing puts it at Sunny Beach's premium tier, but context matters. A day at Bedroom Beach, including lounger, multiple cocktails, and food, costs what a single round at a Mykonos beach club would. The value proposition is strong for anyone who's been to more expensive beach destinations.
The venue closes at sunset or shortly after, so it's a daytime experience. From here, the evening continues at Cacao Beach (15 minutes south by foot) or back on the Main Strip (10-minute walk).
