Thursday Party
Thursday Party is one of Seomyeon's most consistently busy mainstream clubs, operating in a multi-level building roughly 300 meters east of Seomyeon Station's Exit 7. The main floor spans approximately 300 square meters with a central DJ booth elevated above the dance floor and a bar along the back wall. A mezzanine level overlooks the main floor and provides table seating for groups who've reserved in advance. The sound system is competent and the production runs to strobe lighting and fog effects on busy nights. The club has been running long enough to have established a following among Busan university students, and Friday and Saturday nights bring it to capacity after midnight. The crowd is overwhelmingly Korean, with the occasional foreigner drawn by recommendations from language exchange meetups or hostel bulletin boards.

Insider Tip
The crowd peaks after midnight; arriving at 10 PM means a nearly empty room. The mezzanine tables provide the best view of the floor and require a reservation made by phone earlier in the day (Korean language required). Thursday nights are significantly quieter than Friday or Saturday and better for solo visitors who don't want to fight for bar space. The drink coupon from the cover charge is valid only at the main bar; the server-only table areas have a separate pricing structure.
Full Review
Thursday Party earns its position in the Seomyeon nightlife hierarchy through consistency rather than distinctiveness. The club does what a mainstream Korean nightclub is supposed to do without major failure: the sound is clean, the floor is big enough for the crowd, and the drink service works at a pace that keeps people from getting frustrated.
The social dynamic is standard Korean club culture. Groups arrive together, secure a position on the floor or a table on the mezzanine, and drink as a unit. The group orientation means that solo visitors and small groups of two sit at the intersection of two social modes: the club is designed for larger groups, but the overflow from tables and the bar queue area creates enough cross-group proximity for conversation if you're willing to initiate it.
Friday nights at capacity are genuinely impressive: 300+ people on the floor, the lighting rig at full capacity, the DJ hitting the peaks of a commercial EDM set while the crowd responds. It's not subtle and it's not trying to be. If you're looking for that specific experience in Busan, Thursday Party delivers it.
The name, incidentally, reflects the club's original Thursday-focus operation before it expanded to a full weekend run. Thursday is still the friendliest night for visitors who want the atmosphere without the maximum intensity.
