Fuego at Troika Sky Dining
Fuego occupies one wing of The Troika's 23rd-floor sky dining complex, a three-venue rooftop destination overlooking the KL skyline from the north. The Latin American concept runs through the food menu (tacos, ceviche, grilled meats) and the drinks program (tequila flights, mezcal cocktails, pisco sours). A live DJ works the decks on Friday and Saturday nights, playing a mix of Latin house, reggaeton, and Afro-beat that gives the venue more energy than the neighboring Nao or Troika Sky Bar. The outdoor terrace seats about 60, with the Twin Towers forming the backdrop to the south. Indoor dining adds another 80 seats. The space works equally well as a dinner venue or a late-night drinks destination, and many tables transition from one to the other as the evening progresses.
What to Expect
Take the lift from The Troika lobby to Level 23A. Exit into a shared arrival area for the three sky dining venues. Fuego sits to the right, marked by warmer lighting and Latin music. The terrace offers open-air seating with direct skyline views. The energy shifts noticeably when the DJ starts on Friday and Saturday evenings, lifting the space from dinner venue to something livelier.
Warm and social with Latin flair. The DJ nights bring energy without overwhelming conversation. The view keeps everyone oriented toward the terrace.
Latin house, reggaeton, Afro-beat, and tropical bass on DJ nights. Curated Latin playlists on quieter evenings
Smart casual. The crowd dresses for a nice evening out. Long pants and a decent shirt for men. Women wear cocktail-appropriate outfits. The door isn't as strict as Marini's, but flip-flops won't work.
Groups looking for dinner that transitions into drinks with a view. Latin music fans. Couples who want atmosphere without the stuffiness of a pure hotel bar.
Cards and cash accepted. 10% service charge plus 8% SST added to all bills.

Insider Tip
Book a terrace table for 7:00 PM on clear evenings to catch sunset with the Twin Towers in frame. The mezcal cocktails are the bar's strong suit. Friday nights with the DJ create the best atmosphere of the week. Share several small plates rather than ordering individual mains; the tacos and ceviche are the kitchen's strengths.
Full Review
The Troika building sits on Persiaran KLCC, about a 10-minute walk from the Twin Towers. The ground-floor lobby is corporate and quiet, giving no hint of what's happening 23 floors up. The express lift opens onto a landing where the three sky dining venues branch off.
Fuego's terrace is the first thing you'll want to see. The Twin Towers fill the southern sky, lit up against the dark. On clear nights, the view competes with Marini's at a fraction of the altitude but with more space to enjoy it. The outdoor seating is comfortable, tables are spaced well enough for private conversation, and the Latin soundtrack from the indoor speakers drifts out.
The food deserves attention. The tacos use proper corn tortillas and the ceviche is bright and fresh. These aren't afterthought bar snacks. The kitchen operates as a proper restaurant that happens to share a roof with a bar. Main courses are solid but the small plates format works better for groups who plan to stay for drinks.
The transition from dinner to nightlife happens organically. As the DJ starts around 9:00 PM on weekends, the dinner crowd's tables get cleared and the standing room fills with a drinks-focused crowd. The music leans Latin and tropical, which differentiates Fuego from the mellower vibe at neighboring Nao and Troika Sky Bar. By 11:00 PM on a good Saturday, the terrace has a party atmosphere.
Pricing is reasonable for a rooftop venue. Cocktails at MYR 45 to 65 fall between Changkat and the hotel bar tier. The added service charge and tax push the final bill up by 18%, so a MYR 200 tab becomes MYR 236.
The Neighborhood
The Troika Sky Dining complex includes Nao (Japanese concept) and Troika Sky Bar (casual drinks), all on the same floor. Moving between the three venues is easy and creates a natural progression for an evening. The building sits on Persiaran KLCC, a 10-minute walk from the Petronas Towers and 5 minutes from the Convention Centre LRT station.
Getting There
Walk from KLCC LRT station in about 12 minutes heading north along Persiaran KLCC. Grab from Bukit Bintang costs MYR 10-18. Enter The Troika lobby and take the lift to Level 23A. Tell the concierge you're heading to Fuego.
