Caribbean Club
Caribbean Club is a concert venue and nightclub on Petliury Street near Bessarabska Square, operating since the early 2000s. The space holds roughly 800 people across a main hall with a full-size stage, dance floor, and tiered seating areas. The programming varies widely: live Ukrainian rock and pop bands, international tribute acts, stand-up comedy nights, DJ parties, and corporate events all rotate through the calendar. Tickets range from UAH 300 to UAH 1,000 depending on the headliner. Drinks are club-priced: beer UAH 80-130, cocktails UAH 180-320. The venue has a professional sound and lighting rig suited to full-band performances. Caribbean Club adapted to wartime with earlier show times, typically doors at 7 PM and performances ending by 11 PM. The name has no connection to Caribbean culture; it's simply the brand.
What to Expect
A proper concert venue with full production values. The stage is professional grade, the sound system fills the room cleanly, and the lighting rig creates genuine atmosphere during performances. Between acts, the space functions as a large bar with DJ music. The feel depends entirely on the night's programming.
Energetic and varied. A Tuesday comedy night and a Saturday rock concert feel like completely different venues.
Live rock, pop, jazz, Ukrainian folk-rock, tribute acts, stand-up comedy, DJ nights (house, retro, pop).
Varies by event. Concert nights are casual. Special themed evenings may suggest smart casual. Check the event listing.
Live music fans, groups of 4-8, anyone who wants entertainment beyond drinking and dancing.
Cards and cash. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door if not sold out.

Insider Tip
Buy tickets online through their website or Karabas.com (Ukraine's main ticketing platform) to guarantee entry for popular acts. The tiered seating areas at the back and sides offer better sightlines than the standing floor for concerts. Arrive early to grab a table if you want to sit. Check the monthly calendar; the programming quality varies enormously by night.
Full Review
Caribbean Club is Kyiv's most versatile entertainment venue, for better and worse. The best nights, usually when a strong Ukrainian band or a quality international booking fills the room, create a genuine concert experience with excellent sound and an engaged crowd. The worst nights, typically DJ parties on quiet weekends, feel like a large empty room with a loud PA.
The space itself is well-designed for live performance. The stage has enough depth for a full band with equipment. The sound engineering handles everything from acoustic jazz to amplified rock without distortion. The tiered seating along the sides gives the room a theater quality that pure standing venues lack.
A Saturday concert featuring a popular Ukrainian rock act drew about 600 people. The energy was electric in a specifically wartime way: songs about Ukraine, about resistance, about home hit differently when the audience includes people whose cities have been destroyed. The communal experience of live music during wartime carries weight that peacetime concerts don't.
The drinks are standard club fare, produced fast for volume. The cocktails won't win awards, but they're cold and correctly made. Beer is the practical choice. Food service exists but is basic.
The venue's location near Bessarabska Square makes it easy to combine with dinner beforehand and a quick Bolt home before curfew.
