Kairos Resto Bar
Kairos Resto Bar operates a restaurant-first format from opening until around 9 PM, at which point the kitchen winds down and the venue transitions into a late bar and lounge. The food menu covers Colombian and Mediterranean-influenced small plates: carpaccio, charcuterie boards, arepas with coastal toppings, and a changing main that usually features a regional protein. The wine list is the longest in Pinares, sourced from Argentina and Chile, with a few Spanish and Italian options. Cocktails are competent rather than inventive. Live acoustic music runs on Friday nights from around 9 PM, typically a guitarist or small duo performing boleros, bossa nova, and Colombian folk. The space holds around 70 people across the dining area and a small lounge section near the bar. The crowd is primarily professionals and couples. It's quieter than the gastrobars and significantly quieter than anything on Circunvalar.

Insider Tip
Friday live acoustic sets start around 9 PM and run for about two hours; these are the best nights to visit if you want an atmosphere that feels genuinely different from the rest of Pinares. The wine staff will offer recommendations; asking for something from Mendoza or Colchagua usually produces the best value options on the list.
Full Review
Kairos Resto Bar occupies the quietest end of Pinares' nightlife range, which makes it either the wrong venue for an evening out or exactly the right one depending on what you're after. If you want conversation, good wine, and music at a volume you can ignore or enjoy depending on the moment, Kairos delivers all three.
The food phase of the evening from 6 to 9 PM is genuinely good. The kitchen uses better ingredients than most of the neighborhood's bar food: the charcuterie boards include local colombian cured meats alongside European imports, and the small plates program reflects actual cooking rather than bar food assembled from pre-made components. The wine list is the most relevant reason to eat here: having the list available during the food phase means you can pair properly, which the kitchen clearly expects.
The acoustic sets on Friday nights are a highlight of the Pinares week. Colombian bolero and bossa nova played live in a room this size creates an intimacy that's hard to manufacture. The musicians who play here are local professionals, and the quality is consistently high. The 10,000 COP cover on these nights is the best value in Pinares.
The transition from restaurant to late bar works smoothly. By 10 PM, the tables have emptied of dinner guests and filled with people who came specifically for the bar phase. The crowd at this point is a mix of couples and small groups of professionals, and the volume stays low enough that the social dynamics of a lounge rather than a club apply throughout.
The Neighborhood
Kairos Resto Bar is in the Pinares commercial area. The restaurant facade and wine bottle display in the window make it identifiable from the street.
