Levels
Levels occupies a multi-story building at 25 D'Aguilar Street, right in the center of Lan Kwai Fong. True to its name, the club spans several floors connected by internal staircases, each with a different vibe and function. The ground floor serves as a bar and entry point, upper floors house the main dance area and DJ booth, and a rooftop terrace provides open-air drinking with views over the LKF streets below. The capacity is around 350 across all levels. The interior is modern with LED lighting, a medium-sized dance floor, and bar counters on each level. The rooftop is the distinguishing feature, offering a rare outdoor space in a district where most venues are enclosed. On warm nights, the terrace becomes the most popular section of the club.
What to Expect
You enter at street level into a bar area with music already playing. Stairs lead up to the main club level where the DJ and dance floor dominate. Another flight leads to the rooftop, which feels like a completely different venue: open sky, lower music volume, and groups clustered around standing tables.
Energetic and young. The multi-level setup creates pockets of different energy. The rooftop is relaxed and social; the dance floor is loud and physical.
Commercial EDM, top 40 remixes, hip-hop, and dancehall. The music is crowd-pleasing rather than genre-specific. Guest DJs occasionally bring harder electronic sets.
Smart casual. Collared shirts preferred for men but not strictly enforced. No flip-flops. The crowd ranges from casual to dressed-up depending on the night.
Groups who want a multi-vibe venue. The rooftop suits conversation, the dance floor suits energy, and the bar floors suit casual drinking. A solid middle-ground option in LKF.
Cards and cash accepted throughout. Cash faster at busy bars.

Insider Tip
Head straight for the rooftop terrace before it fills up. It's the best feature of the venue. Thursday nights tend to be less crowded with a more local crowd. The lower floors are louder; the rooftop is where you can actually talk.
Full Review
Levels succeeds because of its rooftop. In a district where most clubs are underground or enclosed, having open-air space is a genuine advantage. On a clear Hong Kong night, standing on the terrace with a drink and watching the LKF crowd below is one of the better free shows in the city.
The club floors below are competent but not exceptional. The dance floor is a decent size for the venue's capacity, and the sound system handles the commercial music well. The DJ tends to play safe, sticking to tracks that keep a diverse crowd moving. This isn't the place for music purists, but it works for a group with mixed tastes.
The multi-level design has practical benefits. If one floor is too crowded or too loud, move to another. The rooftop naturally draws the older, more conversational crowd, while the dance floor skews younger and more energetic. This separation means different types of nights out can coexist in the same venue.
Service is average for LKF. The bars get backed up during peak hours (midnight to 1:30 AM), and getting a drink can take 5-10 minutes. The staff is friendly but stretched thin. Prices are middle-of-the-road for the district, making Levels a more affordable alternative to Dragon-i without dropping to dive bar territory.
The location at 25 D'Aguilar is perfect for bar-hopping. Step outside and you're surrounded by options. Levels works best as part of a multi-venue night rather than a solo destination.
