KTVs Worldwide

KTV stands for karaoke television. The format is private rooms, hostess service, song selection on tablet, and pricing by the hour. KTVs concentrate in East Asia and Southeast Asia, with significant variation between Japanese hostess clubs, Chinese-style KTVs, and the looser Southeast Asian versions. Hourly room rates anchor the bill; food, drinks, and hostess tips compound from there, which is why the published rate card is often only half the story.
