Nha Trang's NYE Format
Nha Trang's New Year's Eve concentrates along Tran Phu Boulevard, the 6 km beachfront strip that runs the full length of the city. The main public fireworks fire from a barge offshore at midnight; Tran Phu closes to traffic from 22:00. Around 80,000 to 120,000 people along the beach promenade.

For the elevated view, the Skylight Rooftop on the 43rd floor of the Premier Havana Hotel (38 Tran Phu) runs a fixed dinner package with 360-degree views of Nha Trang Bay. The Vinpearl Island Option
Vinpearl Resort on Hon Tre Island runs a private NYE event accessible only by the 3.3 km cable car (the longest sea-crossing cable car in the world). Multi-course dinner at the resort's main restaurant, fireworks viewing from the island side (the best angle on Nha Trang Bay), theme park access, and resort facilities. VND 3.5M to VND 8.5M per person depending on whether you include accommodation on the island. The cable car runs extended hours for NYE.
Tet vs December 31
Vietnamese families do not generally celebrate December 31. Tet (Lunar New Year, falling on February 17 in 2026) is the more important Vietnamese holiday. The NYE crowd in Nha Trang is heavily international tourists, Russian and Chinese tour groups, and younger Vietnamese. The 2 million Russian and Chinese tourists who pass through Nha Trang annually make NYE here distinctly multilingual; English, Russian, Mandarin, and Korean signage is common at the larger venues.
