DIFC & Downtown, Dubai

White Dubai is a rooftop superclub perched on top of the Meydan Racecourse grandstand, with a capacity of around 3,000 and one of the biggest open-air dance floors in the Middle East. The venue books international headliners regularly, from David Guetta to Black Coffee to Tiesto. The setup includes a main stage, a VIP mezzanine, multiple bars, and an outdoor terrace overlooking the Dubai skyline. Thursday nights are the main event, with Friday sessions drawing a slightly different crowd. Table service dominates the business model; general admission exists but the best positions go to bottle-service customers.

What to Expect

A full-scale superclub experience on a rooftop. Pyrotechnics, CO2 cannons, laser shows, and a sound system that shakes the floor. The crowd is dressed to the nines and spending freely. This is Dubai nightlife at its most theatrical.

Atmosphere

Spectacle-driven, loud, and unapologetically lavish. The kind of club where fireworks go off at midnight.

Music

EDM, house, techno, and hip-hop depending on the night and headliner. Thursday tends toward commercial EDM; Friday leans electronic.

Dress Code

Strict. Smart dress for men: collared shirt, trousers, dress shoes. No shorts, sandals, or sportswear. Women dress formally.

Best For

Groups willing to invest in a big night out. Table service groups of 4-8 get the best experience.

Payment

Cards only for table service. Bars accept cards and cash.

Price Range

GA entry AED 200-500, cocktails AED 80-120, table minimum AED 3,000-15,000

GA ≈ $54-136 / EUR 50-125; cocktails ≈ $22-33 / EUR 20-30; tables ≈ $817-4,083 / EUR 750-3,750

Hours

Thu-Sat 11 PM to 4 AM (seasonal schedule, closed in summer months)

Insider Tip

Buy tickets online in advance for headliner nights. They sell out. Tables must be booked through the venue's official channels or approved promoters. General admission fills the back of the venue; VIP gets you close to the stage.

Full Review

Getting to White Dubai means driving to the Meydan Racecourse, a slightly inconvenient location south of Downtown Dubai. The entrance process can be slow on big nights, with queues for general admission sometimes stretching past 30 minutes. VIP and table guests use a separate entrance that moves faster.

Once inside, the scale is immediately apparent. The main dance floor is enormous, with the DJ booth and stage at one end and an open roof above. The Meydan grandstand structure frames the space, and the Dubai skyline glitters in the distance. Multiple bars line the perimeter, and a VIP mezzanine offers elevated views over the dance floor.

The sound system is built for the space, delivering clean, powerful bass that carries across the open-air venue without the muddiness that plagues some outdoor clubs. When headline DJs perform, the production matches: lasers, pyrotechnics, CO2 cannons, and confetti are standard. The experience on a big night rivals any superclub in Europe or the Americas.

Table service is the core business. Minimum spends start at AED 3,000 for standard tables and climb to AED 15,000 or more for prime positions near the stage. A bottle of Belvedere runs AED 2,000-3,000 depending on location. General admission customers cluster toward the back, where the atmosphere is good but the view of the stage is limited.

The main drawbacks are the location (taxis back to the Marina or Downtown cost AED 50-80 and the wait for a car at closing time can be painful) and the price. This is a venue designed for spending, and it makes no apologies for it.

The Neighborhood

White Dubai sits at the Meydan Racecourse, sharing the complex with Soho Garden and Base Dubai. The three venues together form Dubai's de facto club district. Downtown Dubai is a 15-minute taxi ride north.

Getting There

No public transport serves Meydan directly. Taxis and Careem are the only practical options. From Dubai Marina, expect a 20-25 minute ride. From DIFC, 10-15 minutes. Pre-book your return car; the taxi queue at closing time is brutal.
