Wahm is the better bar in the W Doha. The cocktail menu shows genuine thought. A drink using cardamom-infused bourbon with date syrup nods to the Gulf setting without being gimmicky.
The weeknight live music program elevates the room. A singer-guitarist covering Sade at conversational volume creates exactly the right backdrop.
Thursday and Friday nights transform the space with DJ sets. The main weakness is seating capacity at only 80 seats.
