Draft Punk

Draft Punk's entrance opens from the Mango Square courtyard with a clearly branded facade. The door process matches the rest of the complex: cover paid, ID check, pat-down. Inside, the main floor runs a single large dance space with the DJ booth raised at the back; the bar runs along one side; raised platforms scatter across the floor for elevated dancing.

The themed night programming is the venue's primary draw. Foam parties, color (paint) parties, glow parties, and other production-driven themed nights run on Friday or Saturday during high-traffic weeks. The themes are well-promoted on social media; the venue's calendar fills quickly when production-heavy nights are scheduled. Standard nights run without the themed production.

The music programming runs hip-hop and EDM as the core. The hip-hop programming is heavier than Club Hype's; the EDM portions are more aggressive (harder beats, more frequent drops). The Filipino pop crossover that's standard at other Mango Square venues appears here but less prominently. The Filipino college student demographic shapes the playlist.

The drink program matches the Mango Square standard. Beer at 80-150 PHP; cocktails at 250-400 PHP; the cover includes one drink. Bar service slows during peak; the strategy is to order multiple drinks at once during the gap windows.

The crowd skews younger than Club Hype. Filipino college students from the surrounding universities (USC, USP-F, USJR) form the largest demographic; early twenties professionals from the BPO industry fill in; tourists appear in smaller numbers. The atmosphere is friendly and energetic; the conversation between strangers happens at the bar rather than the dance floor.

Compared with Club Hype (longer tenure, broader EDM), Draft Punk is younger and more themed-focused. Compared with Uptown/Agwa (multi-room format), it's smaller and more focused.
