A terrace extends from the upper level with ocean views and open-air seating. Music is commercial house, dance pop, and occasional R&B sets. Entry costs 150-250 MAD (13.90-23 EUR / 15-25 USD) on weekends including one drink. Cocktails run 120-180 MAD (11-16.65 EUR / 12-18 USD). Beer costs 60-80 MAD (5.55-7.40 EUR / 6-8 USD). Insider Tip

Full Review
Le Balcon 33 represents the newer generation of Casablanca nightlife. The venue is modern, well-designed, and maintained to a standard that older corniche clubs haven't matched. The multi-level layout works: the ground floor absorbs early arrivals and people who prefer lower energy, the upper dance floor is where the night happens, and the terrace provides the escape valve when you need air.
The terrace is the distinguishing feature. Casablanca's corniche clubs all face the Atlantic, but Le Balcon 33's upper-level position gives it elevation. The ocean view, the breeze, and the nighttime lighting create an atmosphere that the enclosed dance floor can't match. On warm evenings, the terrace becomes the primary social space, with people drifting between the bar, the railing views, and the indoor dance floor.
The dance floor is competent. The sound system fills the room properly, the lighting is programmed rather than random, and the DJ booth has good sightlines. On a packed Friday, the floor hits the kind of collective energy that makes a club night work. The music programming sticks to commercial tracks that the crowd knows, which keeps participation high.
The crowd is Casablanca's 25-35 demographic: professionals, entrepreneurs, and their social circles. The atmosphere is aspirational. People dress to be noticed. The social dynamics lean toward group tables and bottle service, with the general admission floor serving as the mixing ground between established groups.
Service is efficient. The bars are staffed to handle weekend volumes without excessive wait times. Bottle service delivery is prompt. The staff are professional and mostly French-speaking.
The main weakness is originality. Le Balcon 33 is a well-executed version of a standard club formula. It doesn't have Theatro's architecture or So Lounge's refinement. What it has is competence, a good terrace, and the advantage of being newer and better-maintained than some corniche competitors.
Security at the door screens for dress code and intoxication. The venue takes a selective approach to entry that some visitors find frustrating. Being well-dressed and arriving with a mixed group helps.
The Neighborhood
On Boulevard de la Corniche in the central section of the Ain Diab strip. Other clubs, restaurants, and beach clubs line the boulevard in both directions. The Morocco Mall is about a 10-minute walk to the west.
Getting There
Petit taxi from central Casablanca costs 30-50 MAD (2.75-4.60 EUR). From Maarif, 20-35 MAD. The boulevard address is easy for any Casablanca taxi driver. Careem works well for late-night return trips.
Other Venues in Ain Diab

Ain Diab Club
One of the corniche's established nightclubs with a large dance floor and VIP sections. Music ranges from R&B to house depending on the night. Popular with a mixed Moroccan and international crowd.

La Bodega
Spanish-themed restaurant and bar on the corniche that transitions to a party venue after 11 PM. Tapas, sangria, and live music or DJ sets. More relaxed than the dedicated nightclubs.

Le Cabestan
Upscale seafood restaurant perched on the rocks at the western end of the corniche. The bar area draws a well-dressed crowd for sunset drinks. Less of a nightclub, more of a high-end social venue.

Tahiti Beach Club
