It doesn't replace a good DJ set but it amplifies one effectively. The resident Friday DJ program plays deep house with a Latin percussion influence that's characteristic of the Guadalajara scene's current direction. Saturday guest bookings are when the venue shows its ceiling; the imported DJs reliably deliver better sets than the residents, and the crowd knows it. The dance floor manages its temperature better than comparable venues thanks to an industrial HVAC system that keeps the air moving. The bars are positioned sensibly: the crowd at the main bar doesn't block the dance floor. Beer service is quick. The door policy enforces dress code seriously; the rejection rate for underdressed groups is higher here than at the Chapultepec clubs but lower than Andares.
