Full Review
Vnitroblock at Tusarova 31 converted a factory ruin into a daytime cultural centre that works in practice. The ground floor cafe runs coffee, light food, and beer from 9 AM across a wide hall furnished with retro pieces. The rest of the building holds a dance studio, small cinema, gallery, boutique shops, and an event hall. The space has the feel of a creative commons: shared, open, and genuinely used.
The crowd is laptop workers in the morning, lunch regulars midday, and after-work drinkers in the evening. The gallery space inside hosts rotating exhibitions that change the visual character of the room every few weeks. The coffee is serious, the beer is well-chosen, and the food runs from pastries to light meals without overreaching.
Vnitroblock fills the creative daytime space in Holesovice. Cross Club is the nighttime alternative, SaSaZu handles the big nights, but for the hours between 9 AM and 10 PM, Vnitroblock is the most pleasant place to be in the district. The factory architecture and the curated retail add character that coffee chains can't replicate.
Access via an alley from Delnicka Street or directly from Tusarova. Nearest tram stops are Tusarova and Delnicka. Bring a laptop if you want to work; the space is built for it. The gallery is worth a look before ordering.
