Full Review
SaSaZu fills 5,000 square metres inside the Holesovice market hall at Bubenske nabrezi 13, running two operations in the same space. During the day, an award-winning Southeast Asian restaurant serves Vietnamese, Thai, and broader pan-Asian dishes at mid-range to premium prices. After 10 PM, the restaurant clears and the space transforms to hold 2,500 people for DJ nights and international bookings.
The restaurant is genuinely good, not a club that happens to serve food. The transition to club mode is swift and professional. The DJ bookings pull commercial house, EDM, and R&B, with headline acts that draw from across the Czech Republic. The sound system handles the 5,000-square-metre space without dead spots. Service is polished throughout both modes.
SaSaZu is Prague's most professionally run nightlife operation. Duplex has the rooftop, Cross Club has the design, Lucerna has the history, but SaSaZu has the scale and the dual-purpose execution. The restaurant-to-club transition is unique in Prague and rare anywhere. The booking budget attracts international names that smaller venues can't afford.
Book a restaurant table for 7-8 PM if you want dinner before the club transition. The change happens around 10 PM. Club entry varies by event; check their website for ticket prices and lineups. Smart casual to smart at the door.
