Instead, the exposed brick, warm lighting, and vintage posters create a setting that feels like a bar that might actually exist in a Havana side street, if the drinks were this well-made and the sound system this good.
The mojitos are the test of a Cuban-themed bar, and Habana passes. Fresh mint, proper muddling technique, quality rum, and the right balance of sweet and sour produce a mojito that tastes different from the versions served at resort bars with pre-made mix.
