Lasta
Lasta is a polished two-level splav on the Sava river that draws Belgrade's twenty-something and thirty-something crowd with a mix of commercial house, pop remixes, and the occasional R&B night. The upper deck opens in summer and offers one of the better river views among the Savamala splavovi, looking across to the Belgrade Waterfront towers and the Kalemegdan fortress lit up at night. The interior lower level runs year-round with a proper dance floor, DJ booth, and VIP section. The crowd dresses well and the atmosphere tilts toward upscale without the pretension of some competitors. Entry is free on most nights, with occasional event covers of RSD 500-1,000. Drinks are standard splav pricing, with cocktails around RSD 800-1,100 and beer at RSD 300-450. The bar staff are trained and handle peak-hour queues better than most splavovi. Table service comes with minimum spend requirements on weekends, typically RSD 6,000-12,000 depending on the table location, which is worth splitting among a group for guaranteed seating and faster drink access.
What to Expect
A sleek river club with an upscale but approachable atmosphere. The music is mainstream and the crowd comes to socialize as much as dance. The upper deck in summer is the highlight, combining music, river views, and warm air. The energy builds steadily after midnight.
Upscale casual. Less intense than Freestyler, more social than the underground clubs. The river view and open deck create a relaxed energy that sharpens as the night progresses.
Commercial house, pop remixes, R&B, and occasional themed nights
Smart casual. Similar to Freestyler in expectations. Clean shoes, no sportswear, and looking like you planned your outfit.
Couples and groups wanting a polished splav experience without the chaos of the mega-clubs. Good for a first splav visit.
Cash (RSD) and cards accepted at the bar and for bottle service

Full Review
Lasta occupies a well-maintained floating structure with two distinct levels that serve different purposes. The upper deck is open-air and runs from April through October, offering views up and down the Sava that make it one of the more scenic spots in Savamala. The bar wraps along one side, and the DJ booth sits at the far end with the dance area spreading out in front. Tables line the railing, and these fill within the first hour of opening on weekends. The railing seats are prime real estate because they combine the party atmosphere with the river views, and regulars know to arrive early or reserve to claim them.
Downstairs functions as the year-round backup and the main venue during winter months. The space is darker, more contained, and better for dancing when the weather doesn't cooperate. The sound system is good on both levels, and the DJ roster tends toward competent residents who play crowd-pleasing sets rather than experimental or niche programming. The lighting design is a step up from most Belgrade venues, with LED effects synchronized to the music that add visual punch without overwhelming the space.
The crowd at Lasta is slightly more composed than Freestyler's. The average age skews a bit higher, the energy is social rather than chaotic, and the dress code is enforced without being exclusionary. Groups of friends dominate, with birthday celebrations and work outings making up a large share of the tables. Solo visitors can find space at the bar, and the atmosphere is warm enough that conversations with strangers start naturally. The staff are professional and maintain the venue's polished feel through consistent service and attention to the space's condition.
Service is efficient by splav standards. Bar queues form after midnight but move faster than at some competitors. Bottle service is responsive and comes with the standard sparkler presentation that Belgrade's nightlife has adopted wholesale. The drinks themselves are well-made for a nightclub environment. Nothing artisanal, but properly mixed and fairly priced. The venue closes by 5 AM, which is early by Belgrade standards but typical for mid-range splavovi. If you want to continue after Lasta, the warehouse clubs in Savamala stay open later.
The Neighborhood
Lasta is part of the Savamala splav row. Its neighbors include Freestyler and Mladost i Ludost, making it easy to hop between venues if the mood or music at one doesn't suit. Late-night food stands operate on the riverbank path, and a pljeskavica from one of these at 3 AM is a Belgrade rite of passage.
Getting There
Walk from Brankov Bridge along the Sava riverfront, about 12 minutes. Car:Go drops you on Karadjordjeva street, then walk down to the river level. Look for the venue signage on the bank.
