Envy Rooftop
Envy Rooftop occupies the top of the Sortis Hotel on Calle 56 near Calle Uruguay, offering an open-air club experience with panoramic views of Panama City's skyline. The venue features a pool deck (though swimming during events is uncommon), lounge seating, bottle-service tables, and a DJ booth that drives the sound across the entire terrace. Music leans electronic and reggaeton, with guest DJs on special event nights. Envy is one of Panama City's premier bottle-service destinations, attracting a well-dressed crowd that skews wealthy and young. Cover charges on weekends range from USD 15-20, sometimes including a drink. Bottle service starts at USD 200 for standard options and climbs from there. Individual cocktails cost USD 12-18.
What to Expect
A full club experience on a rooftop with city views. The DJ drives the energy, and the crowd responds. Bottle-service tables occupy the prime spots near the pool and the edge with the best views. The dance floor fills after midnight. It's loud, flashy, and unapologetically focused on the party. Age range skews 23-35.
Glamorous and loud. The skyline views, pool-deck setting, and well-dressed crowd create something cinematic when the night peaks around 1-2 AM.
Reggaeton, electronic, EDM, and Latin house. Guest DJs shift the balance on special nights.
Upscale club attire. Men need collared shirts, dress shoes or clean sneakers, and no shorts. Women dress to impress. This is one of Panama City's most appearance-conscious venues.
Groups wanting a high-energy club night with city views. Bottle-service seekers. Anyone who wants the 'VIP in a tropical city' experience.
Credit cards and cash (USD) accepted. Bottle service requires a card on file.

Insider Tip
Reserve a table if you plan to do bottle service; walk-ins wait in line and pay cover. The line moves slowly after midnight. Arriving between 10:30 and 11:30 PM avoids the worst wait. Follow their Instagram for event announcements and guest DJ lineups.
Full Review
Envy is accessed through the Sortis Hotel lobby, with an elevator ride to the rooftop. The transition from hotel corridor to open-air club is abrupt. The terrace is large by rooftop standards, with enough room for a dance floor, a lounge area, bottle-service tables, and a bar without feeling cramped. The pool is lit and serves as a visual centerpiece, though actual swimming during events is rare.
The sound system is professional-grade and fills the space without the distortion that plagues many rooftop setups. The DJ booth is positioned for visibility, and the lighting rig matches the audio quality. On big event nights with guest DJs, the production rivals clubs twice the size.
The crowd is money-conscious. Bottle-service tables are the status play, and groups compete for the best positions near the pool and the skyline edge. Individual cocktails at the bar are overpriced relative to what you'd pay at street-level venues, but the setting and the experience justify the premium for most visitors.
Service at bottle-service tables is attentive. Bar service for walk-in customers is slower, especially after midnight. Lines at the entrance build from 11:30 PM onward. The one-in-one-out policy applies when capacity is reached.
The downside is inconsistency. Big event nights with promoted DJs are genuinely excellent. Regular weekends without a special lineup can feel underpopulated and overpriced. Check the event calendar before committing.
The hotel connection is convenient for guests staying at the Sortis but also means the venue has hotel-level security and policies. Aggressive behavior gets you removed quickly.
