Kaapse Brouwers
The Kaapse Brouwers office and production base sits at Keilestraat 9F, and this location offers beer tastings and direct access to the brewery operation. While less scenic than the Katendrecht Kaapse Kaap taproom, this spot gives a closer look at the brewing side of the business. Tastings are available and the tap selection draws from the full Kaapse range.

Full Review
The Keilestraat branch of Kaapse Brouwers is the production base and office, sitting at number 9F in the industrial Keilepand complex. Unlike the waterfront Kaapse Kaap taproom in Katendrecht, this location puts you inside the working brewery itself. The setting is functional rather than scenic: brewing equipment, storage, and a tasting area that exists because the beer has to be tasted somewhere.
Tastings are the main draw here. Guided sessions walk you through the Kaapse range, including test batches and experimental brews that never make it to the taproom taps. The staff are brewers first and hosts second, which means the conversation goes deeper into process and ingredients than you'd get at the bar. Groups get the most out of the experience.
Compared to the Katendrecht location, the Keilestraat brewery trades atmosphere for education. There's no harbour terrace, no food hall next door, and the industrial surroundings don't invite lingering. What you get instead is access to the source: the place where the beer is actually made, with the people who make it.
Book a tasting session through the website, especially for groups. The Keilestraat location works well as part of a broader tour of the Keilepand complex. The tap range here often includes batches not available elsewhere, which gives beer enthusiasts a reason to visit both locations.
The Neighborhood

Getting There
Bus 38 to Keileweg. The brewery is inside the Keilepand complex at Keilestraat 9F. Not well signed from the street, so look for the Kaapse logo on the building.
