B-Club is Nairobi's bottle-service destination, a high-end nightclub that draws the city's wealthiest crowd and the visitors who want to be near them. The interior is sleek and dark, with LED-lit VIP sections, a central dance floor, a powerful sound system, and bottle presentation ceremonies complete with sparklers and announcements. Champagne, premium spirits, and imported wine flow at tables booked by Nairobi's elite. Entry runs KES 1,500-3,000 ($11.25-22.50) for general admission, with table minimums starting at KES 30,000 ($225). Cocktails cost KES 1,200-2,500 ($9-18.75). The club opens Thursday through Saturday, with Saturday being the flagship night. The dress code is strict: closed shoes, long trousers, and collared shirts for men; the women's dress code is enforced less rigidly but the standard is high.

What to Expect

A polished, high-energy club where money is the primary social currency. The VIP sections dominate the room, with tables raised above the dance floor. Bottle arrivals are announced and lit with sparklers. The music is loud and bass-heavy. The general admission area has its own bar and a view of the main floor. The crowd dresses to impress.

Atmosphere

Flashy, aspirational, and unapologetically expensive. The club is designed to make big spenders feel important.

Music

Afrobeats, amapiano, hip-hop, R&B, and commercial dance music

Dress Code

Strict. Men: closed shoes, long trousers, collared shirt minimum. Women: cocktail attire or equivalent. No sneakers, no jeans at the door (though enforcement varies by night and by how well you know the bouncers).

Insider Tip

Book a table in advance for Saturday night; walk-ins face a long queue and may be turned away. Dress sharp. The bouncers are strict and unapologetic about dress code enforcement. If you're not doing bottle service, stick to the general admission area near the main bar where the atmosphere is more relaxed and you won't feel out of place.

Full Review

B-Club operates on a model familiar to anyone who's visited premium clubs in Dubai, Lagos, or Miami. The space is designed around its VIP tables, which are raised, well-lit (when bottle presentations happen), and positioned to see and be seen. The dance floor sits below, where general admission guests and table guests who've left their seats mix.

The sound system is Nairobi's best. Bass hits cleanly without distorting, and the ceiling-mounted speakers distribute sound evenly across the room. The DJs know their audience and play sets that keep the dance floor moving: heavy on afrobeats and amapiano with hip-hop bridges and the occasional throwback.

Bottle service is the core business. Tables start at KES 30,000 ($225) and go well beyond KES 100,000 ($750) for premium positions. The presentation involves LED-branded bottle carriers, sparklers, and an MC who announces the table. It's performative and intentionally so. This is where Nairobi's politicians, business owners, and celebrities spend their Saturday nights.

General admission exists and is accessible. The main bar serves cocktails and spirits at prices that, while high by Kenyan standards, are reasonable compared to equivalent clubs internationally. The experience without a table is different: you're a spectator to the VIP culture rather than a participant. Some people enjoy the observation; others feel excluded.

The door policy is real. Bouncers assess dress, attitude, and group composition. Solo men face the hardest screening. Mixed groups and couples get easier entry. Being polite, well-dressed, and patient helps. Being drunk, aggressive, or poorly dressed gets you turned away without apology.

Security inside is professional. The club attracts powerful people and takes their safety seriously. Fights are rare and dealt with quickly. Drink spiking concerns are mitigated by the bottle-service model, where your drinks are served at your table.

The walk from the car to the entrance is short but the surrounding area is dark. The club's valet parking or the adjacent lot with guards handles vehicle security. Do not park on side streets.

The Neighborhood

B-Club sits on Galana Road at the Kilimani-Westlands border. The surrounding area is commercial and residential, quiet after midnight except for the club traffic. Several high-end restaurants are within a short drive.

Getting There

Uber or Bolt from Westlands' Woodvale Grove costs KES 200-400 ($1.50-3). From the CBD, KES 400-700 ($3-5.25). The club has valet parking for drivers. A dedicated parking area with security guards is adjacent.
