The combined venue spreads across three floors with a mix of electronic, top-40, and electro sounds. The all-you-can-drink plan from 9 to 11pm runs ¥2,000 and functions as a smart entry deal before the full cover kicks in. Full Review
Muse and its partner venue alife have occupied the same Nishi-Azabu address for over 20 years, which makes them Roppongi institutions by any measure. The combined space spans three floors with different music and energy on each. The ground floor tends toward electronic and house. Upper levels shift between top-40 and electro depending on the night. The layout allows movement between vibes without leaving the building.
The early evening all-you-can-drink deal at 2,000 yen from 9 to 11pm is one of Roppongi's best value propositions. It draws a younger crowd that fills the floors before the main cover charge activates later in the night. After 11pm, the energy shifts as the drinking-deal crowd mixes with the later arrivals who came for the music.
Muse sits in a different lane from Roppongi's premium clubs. It doesn't compete with 1OAK on exclusivity or with V2 on production. What it offers is consistency, variety across floors, and a mixed crowd that includes both international visitors and Japanese clubbers. The cover charge is moderate (1,000 to 2,500 yen with drinks included), and the atmosphere is more relaxed about dress and status than its neighbors.
The venue runs Tuesday through Saturday, with peak nights on Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm to 5am. Early weeknight closings (Tuesday-Thursday) limit those evenings to the all-you-can-drink crowd. Dress code is club attire but enforced less rigidly than at 1OAK or V2. The Nishi-Azabu location is slightly removed from the noisiest part of Roppongi, which means the walk to and from the venue has a different feel from the main crossing's chaos.
The Neighborhood
Muse and alife anchor the Nishi-Azabu end of Roppongi's nightlife strip, slightly removed from the main crossing's tourist-heavy bars. The location draws a crowd that's more likely to be Tokyo-based than the transient visitors who stick to the central Roppongi venues.
Getting There
A 10-minute walk from Roppongi Station toward Nishi-Azabu, or a short taxi ride. The venue is set back from the main Roppongi drag, so first-timers should map it before heading out.
