Castle Club
Castle Club takes Ayia Napa's party formula and wraps it in a medieval theme that somehow works despite the absurdity. The venue occupies a multi-floor building at Grigori Afxentiou 2, just off the main Nissi Avenue strip. The exterior mimics castle walls with turrets and faux stonework that glow under spotlights after dark. Inside, three floors offer distinct music policies: the main room runs pop and chart music, a second floor plays R&B and hip-hop, and a smaller space handles dance and electronic sets. The total capacity reaches roughly 1,500 across all levels. Staircases between floors keep people circulating, and the layout encourages exploration. Each room has its own bar, lighting rig, and sound system. The medieval decorations are tongue-in-cheek, with suits of armor, shields, and stone-effect walls adding to the theme without taking it too seriously. The venue has operated for years and knows its audience: young tourists who want variety in a single venue.
What to Expect
You enter through a castle-themed facade into a dark, multi-level space. Each floor has a different sound. The staircases between levels are narrow and crowded after 1 AM. Colored lights bounce off stone-effect walls while fog machines keep things hazy.
Energetic and fun with a self-aware cheesiness. The castle theme gives it personality that separates it from the generic superclubs on the strip.
Main room: pop, chart hits, commercial dance. Second floor: R&B, hip-hop, dancehall. Third space: electronic, house, techno.
Casual. Standard Ayia Napa attire of shorts, t-shirts, and trainers. No strict enforcement.

Insider Tip
Start on the top floor where it's less crowded early in the night and work your way down as rooms fill up. The R&B room is the best-kept secret for people who don't want wall-to-wall EDM. Check with promoters on the strip for free entry deals, which are available most weeknights.
Full Review
Castle Club succeeds because it doesn't take itself seriously. The medieval theme is ridiculous, and the venue knows it. Fake turrets, suits of armor, and stone walls set a tone that says "we're here to have fun, not to be cool." That attitude filters through to the crowd, which tends to be looser and more playful than the posing you sometimes get at the more image-conscious clubs.
The three-floor format is the real selling point. If you're tired of the pop anthems on the main floor, walk upstairs to the R&B room. If you want heavier beats, the electronic space delivers. This flexibility makes Castle Club the best single-venue night out on the strip. You don't need to pay multiple cover charges or walk between clubs in the heat.
Drinks are priced in line with the rest of the strip. The bars on each floor are independently staffed, so if one has a long queue, try another level. The included drink with entry is a nice touch and takes some sting out of the cover charge.
The venue fills from the bottom up. The main room gets packed first, with the upper floors staying manageable until around 1 AM. By 2 AM, all three levels are at capacity on weekend nights. The staircases become bottlenecks, which is the main frustration. If you want to move between floors during peak hours, plan for slow going.
Security is present on each floor and at the staircases. The staff are experienced with the Ayia Napa crowd and handle situations calmly. The overall vibe stays fun rather than aggressive, which is a credit to how the venue manages its audience.
