El Enemigo Wine Bar
El Enemigo Wine Bar connects to the El Enemigo label, the project of Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena, which focuses on single-varietal wines including an internationally recognized Cabernet Franc and several Malbec expressions from the Adrianna Vineyard at 1,500 meters altitude in the Valle de Uco. The bar format provides access to wines that sell out at the winery and are hard to find elsewhere in Mendoza. The space is small, with focused tasting and bar seating, and functions better as a wine experience than as a late-night destination. Evenings shift from structured tastings to a more open bar format around 8 PM, when locals join the visiting wine enthusiasts for pours by the glass.

Full Review
El Enemigo Wine Bar is the closest thing Chacras de Coria has to a specialist wine shop that also serves by the glass. The association with the El Enemigo label means the selection tilts heavily toward those wines, which is a strong recommendation in itself. The Cabernet Franc from this producer appears on international best-wine lists and is not easily found outside Argentina.
The space is small and focused. No effort has been made to compete with the restaurant format of La Sal or the cocktail format of Muta. This is a wine bar that takes the wine seriously and asks that visitors do the same. The staff extend patience to genuine curiosity.
Daytime tasting slots are more structured and educational, walking through the lineup with explanation of the viticulture and winemaking decisions. The evening format is looser, with the bar available for pours by the glass without a structured tasting commitment.
Prices are notably higher than La Reserva in the centro, which reflects both the wine quality and the Chacras de Coria overhead. A pour of the Adrianna Vineyard Malbec costs more here than any glass in the centro, but it is a wine that commands the price.
For visitors with wine as a primary travel motivation, El Enemigo is the most direct access point to wines that require winery appointment or wine-auction sourcing in most of the world.
