Shamrock
Shamrock runs a split-personality operation: Irish pub upstairs, underground nightclub in the basement. The pub floor does exactly what you'd expect with pints of Guinness, sports on screens, and an international crowd mixing with locals. Downstairs is where things shift. The basement club runs until dawn on weekends, with DJs playing a mix of rock, pop, and electronic music to a younger crowd that spills over from the pub. It's not fancy. Drinks are cheap by Recoleta standards, the floors get sticky by 2 AM, and nobody seems to mind. The location near the Recoleta Cemetery and the main nightlife strip makes it an easy first or last stop.
What to Expect
A messy, fun night that starts civilized and ends up in a sweaty basement. The transition from pub to club happens naturally as the night goes on. Don't come expecting craft cocktails or a curated playlist. Come expecting cheap drinks and a crowd that's out to have a good time.
Rowdy and fun. The kind of place you plan to visit for one pint and leave six hours later.
Rock, pop, and commercial electronic in the basement. Background pub music upstairs.
Casual. Very casual. This is a pub with a basement.
Backpackers, expats, and anyone looking for cheap drinks and late-night dancing in Recoleta.

Insider Tip
Start upstairs with a pint and see where the night takes you. The basement can feel claustrophobic when it's packed, so if crowds aren't your thing, stick to the pub floor. Thursday is student night.
