- Transport
- The Discobus shuttle that runs in summer is shut for winter. Taxis (around EUR 25-45 within Ibiza Town) and rental cars are the options. Most NYE activity is in Ibiza Town and walkable within.
- Costs
- Hotels in Ibiza Town EUR 95-280 per night, around 25 percent of summer peak rates. Pacha cover EUR 75-180. Restaurant NYE menus EUR 95-385.
- Safety on the night
- Ibiza in winter is genuinely safe. Pickpocketing is rare (population too small). The only NYE risk is logistical: limited venues, no late-night transit in some directions, limited services in San Antonio.
- Dress
- Cold (8 to 13°C). Coat. Pacha smart casual to glamour; Lio enforces strict dress code (collared shirt minimum, no sneakers).
- Ticketing
- Pacha via the venue's website or Resident Advisor. Lio dinners directly via Lio. Restaurants by phone.

Ibiza in Winter Is a Different Island
Ibiza is functionally a quiet Mediterranean island from October through April. The famous superclubs (Amnesia, Privilege, DC10, Hi Ibiza, Ushuaia, Cova Santa, Cafe Mambo, Cafe del Mar's beach bar) close in early October. The Playa d'en Bossa beach club strip mostly shuts down; San Antonio runs at maybe 10 percent of summer capacity. The international tourist contingent drops from 800,000+ per month in August to around 30,000 per month in December.
What stays open: Pacha Ibiza (the only superclub running winter event nights), Lio Ibiza (Pacha's sister restaurant-cabaret), around 30 restaurants in Dalt Vila (the UNESCO-listed Old Town), the hotels in Ibiza Town, and the year-round restaurants outside the resort coastline. Pacha is the only place to do the Ibiza club NYE.
Pacha NYE
Pacha Ibiza on the Marina runs the headline NYE event with international DJ talent comparable to summer (Solomun, Hot Since 82, Pacha residents typically all play). Cover EUR 75 to EUR 180 via the venue's website or Resident Advisor. Two main rooms, plus the rooftop with EUR 1,200-2,500 bottle service tables. The crowd is around 30 percent international tourists and 70 percent Spanish residents and mainland-Spain travelers. By Ibiza summer standards (typical superclub night EUR 65-110 cover), the NYE premium is modest.
Lio Ibiza
Pacha's sister venue is the polished package alternative. Multi-course Mediterranean dinner from 21:00 alongside an acrobatic cabaret performance, sparkling wine at midnight, 12-grape ritual, then access to the Pacha after-party. EUR 285 to EUR 650 per person depending on table position. Books out by mid-October. Strict dress code: collared shirt minimum, no sneakers.
Dalt Vila Old Town Dinners
The UNESCO Old Town fortress concentrates the year-round restaurants. Plaza del Parque, Sa Punta, the seafood restaurants on Carrer Major, La Plaza, and El Olivo run NYE prix-fixe menus with Mediterranean dinner, sparkling wine, and the 12-grape ritual at midnight. EUR 95 to EUR 285 per person. The Old Town walking streets are walkable from Ibiza Town hotels.
