LK Metro Beer Bars
LK Metro is a single pedestrianised street lined with open-air beer bars and a cluster of go-go venues. Draft beer starts at 65 THB, bottled beer runs 150-170 THB across most bars, and lady drinks sit at 195 THB. Bar fines for go-go bars on the metro start at 1000-1500 THB, well below Walking Street rates. The atmosphere is relaxed and nobody applies serious pressure. The street is quieter than Soi 6 or Walking Street and draws a loyal expat regular crowd alongside steady tourist traffic.

LK Metro beats every other Pattaya area on price. Champagne a-go-go is one of the oldest go-go bars here and still delivers. LK Angels is small but extremely social upstairs. Start at the street entrance and walk the full length before committing to a bar.
Full Review
The LK Metro beer bars are a cluster of open-air, counter-service bars that line the soi between the go-go venues. Each bar is essentially the same: a counter, bar stools, a few TVs showing sports, and staff who serve cold beer and basic cocktails. The format is stripped to its essentials, and the social atmosphere is the product rather than the drinks.
The crowd is predominantly expats and long-stay visitors who use the beer bars as their evening living room. Conversations between neighboring bars are common, and the open-air format means the social energy flows across the soi. Prices are Pattaya's lowest, with beers starting around 60-80 THB. The atmosphere is relaxed, unhurried, and community-oriented.
The beer bars aren't competing with the go-go venues or the clubs. They fill a different role: the casual, low-cost, social space where the evening starts or ends. Walking Street has its own beer bar culture, but LK Metro's version is more local, less tourist-oriented, and cheaper.
Don't overthink the choice between individual bars; they're functionally identical. Pick whichever has a free stool and a friendly face behind the counter. The social experience is the product. A beer and a conversation cost less here than anywhere else in Pattaya.
The Neighborhood
The LK Metro beer bars form the connective tissue of the soi, linking the go-go bars and providing the casual, open-air social space that defines the area's laid-back alternative to Walking Street's intensity.
Getting There
Songthaew along Second Road to the LK Metro entrance. The beer bars line the open-air section of the soi and are visible from the entrance.
