The main room has enough space that it doesn't feel crushed until well past 1 AM, and the sound system handles the commercial dance and EDM playlist without distortion. Lighting rigs and lasers do their job. The DJ booth sits raised at the front, and the layout funnels everyone toward the dance floor.
Service at the bars is functional but slow during peak hours. Ordering two drinks at once saves you a second trip through the crowd. Prices are marked up compared to the Strip bars outside, which is why most people show up already warmed up. The VIP sections offer table service but the premium is significant and mostly buys you seating rather than a better experience.
The crowd is what you'd expect from the Algarve's party capital. British tourists dominate, with groups from Ireland, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia filling the gaps. Stag and hen parties are a constant presence in July and August. The atmosphere is friendly and loose rather than aggressive, though the later hours can get messy. Security is visible and handles problems quickly.

Getting There
The Strip is a 10-minute walk downhill from Albufeira's main bus station. Taxis from other Algarve towns drop you at the top of Rua Sao Goncalo de Lagos. Walking from the Old Town beach takes about 15 minutes uphill.
