A fully loaded jukebox mixes English and Spanish tracks. Rated 4.7 on Google.

Full Review
Dandy del Sur has occupied its spot at Ricardo Flores Magon 2030, just off Avenida Revolucion, since 1957. The room is dark, narrow, and decorated with decades of accumulated memorabilia: photographs, posters, bottles, and ephemera that no designer could replicate. The bar runs along one wall, a few small tables fill the opposite side, and a jukebox in the corner covers everything from boleros to norteño to classic rock. Walk in and it feels like the room has been waiting for you.
The clientele is a mix of Tijuana regulars, border-crossing Americans who've found the place through word of mouth, and the occasional musician or artist. Conversation dominates the room since there's no stage and no DJ, just the jukebox and whatever people bring to the table. The bartenders pour generous cocktails at prices that belong to a different decade, with 2x1 specials that make the value even harder to argue with.
Dandy del Sur is widely considered one of the best cantinas in all of Baja California, and the reputation is earned. It operates on a completely different plane from the tourist bars on Revolucion. There's no neon, no promoters outside, no cover charge. It's a drinking bar for people who appreciate drinking bars, and the atmosphere is warm enough to hold you for hours. The dark wood, dim lighting, and jukebox create a timelessness that few venues anywhere can match.
The 2x1 cocktail specials are the best deal on the strip. Cash is king here. The location just off Revolucion means it's easy to find but removed enough from the main tourist drag to maintain its character. Evening visits are best; the room really comes alive after 8:00 PM when the regulars settle in.
